Vivocampervans

Short version: It does not get any better. 100% highly recommended!Long version: VIVO has nothing to do with the big mass rental companies. John and his wife provide personal, but professional service and you get everything you need for a great vacation. We spent two months in one of their vans with three kids and did a long tour throughout North and South Island. John answered all the questions I had long before we collected the campervan. The van had everything we needed, including high quality child seats. With the solar panel on the roof we could spend many days on beautiful unpowered campsites without having to worry about running out of electricity. The beds are very comfortable and our kids loved the bunk bed.Returning the van could not have been easier - we drove directly to the airport in Christchurch and John took it from there. Handover was only a matter of minutes and made it very convenient for us - handling three kids and tons of luggage is already challenging! I have to thank John again for everything, we had the best time. He is a great guy, always helpful, passionate, honest, and I can only recommend VIVO campervans to everyone.

Our family 6 (4 adults, 2 kids; spanning 3 generations) just spent 12 days in North Island, New Zealand, touring via Vivo Campervans' delightful 6-berth vans. We were very pleased with the quality and the performance of the vans (Benimar Mileo 323; paired to a Fiat Ducato MaxiJet 2 150hp diesel).The excellent and premium design of the relatively compact (6.8m length for a 6-berther) Benimar van is evident right away when you enter - upper deck bed that props up with gas struts, well-designed airflow ventilation, roof-mounted solar panel, high tech control panels for monitoring the fresh and grey water tank, as well as main battery statuses.There was good communication with John and Kim (the owners) as well, and they fetched us from Auckland airport to their base in Ararimu; and back again when we returned the campervan. Highly recommended!

Cannot speak highly enough of Kim and John and their fleet of motorhomes.We recently spent two weeks (almost) with three very small children exploring the delights the North Island has to offer. What an amazing place and what an amazing way to see it.Our experience was a breeze from the moment they picked us up from the hotel in Auckland to the time the dropped us back two weeks later.The vans are fantastic and offer everything we needed to live on the road. Fantastic campers. John and Kim are very decent people; they will work with you in to ensure you have a great holiday. We rented a six berth camper for 5 adult sized people, the bunks at the back are suitable for children or adults. The vans are surprising easy to drive and New Zealand roads are better than I expected (certainly better than Ireland). John will sort out any issues, rapidly and in a professional manner. The vans come complete with everything you need, cooking utensils, plates etc, sat nav, towels, you just need to bring your clothes etc. I highly recommend Vivo campers and John and Kim couldn’t have been better to us. We rented Tui Vivo Camper for some fourteen days and toured the Te Ika-a-Māui Northern Island together with our two kids, one and three years old.The spacious camper van is very easy to drive (comes with a GPS) and super comfortable plus very well equipped with everything you need for eating and cooking, sleeping and washing, but also cleaning. It’s easy to handle (hot/cold water, heating etc.). There is room enough to prepare meals, eat and relax in the camper van. It feels very safe especially when you are on holiday with kids (kids seats, bed features).John very well introduced us in detail to everything before we left his depot. He provided us with everything we needed (outdoor chairs and table, kids seats) and gave us an overview concerning camping in Aotearoa New Zealand. While in the road he was there for us 24 hours a day, he always reacted quickly when we had questions concerning buttons or functions of the camper van.We were very happy that we had the possibility to have our last night in the depot and that he took us to the airport the next day.If you are looking for a luxurious and comfortable camper van there is nothing better! What a fantastic experience travelling with Vivo Campervans! Booking with Kim and John was easy and even included pick up and drop off to our transfers/ accomodation. The van was a perfect size for our family of 4, and of excellent quality. It made our 2 weeks in the North Island a breeze and really enjoyable. We would definitly re-book with Vivo and highly recommend to others to do the same.

Great service.The campervan itself was brilliant. Clean, virtually new truck. Just the same as a car to drive but bigger. All the amenities were included. A mobile hotel room on wheels!! We toured the South Island over 3 weeks and should have spent longer.We had a great time touring New Zealand and would recommend Vivo Campervans.

We rentet a Vivo Camper for 26 days and drog around New Zealand with our 3 kids. (8,12 and 15). The camper was nice and clean.Kim and John picked us up in Auckland city and we droped the camper off in Christchurch. We hired a Vivo campervan for 10 days in February 2020. We had the most amazing time with our two boys and loved the freedom it gave us. The campervan itself was just what we needed, a good size for our family without being too enormous to drive around in. John and Kim were incredibly helpful and let us stay for a few hours while we got set up and shown around the campervan. I couldn't recommend Vivo Campervans more highly, the vans and service are impeccable and made for a very memorable trip to New Zealand.Claire and Alex
