I was in final contract negotiations with Brian Simpson when we misunderstood each other on a single point. I politely tried to clarify when he became disproportionately rude and unnecessarily hostile. Our interactions were primarily via email, so it would have been easy to clarify what was said, yet he made claims that were not supported by the email trail. I don’t know if I would say he would benefit more from a communication skills or an anger management course, but he is definitely not the type of person I wished to conduct business with.
