My Wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and had a lovely time. The rooms were large and clean. Staff were friendly/attentive and went the extra mile to make our stay excellent. I also highly recommend dining at the restaurant and attending the spa.

Gorgeous room!! We stayed in the deluxe spa suite! Really spacious !Really lovely well maintained grounds.Unfortunately the Restaurant wasn't open for lunch and dinner! The location is 10 minutes from town. Our room had no kitchen facilities so we had to drive into town. No real biggie but with bad weather and a gravel road it made it interesting. Honestly when the restaurant/sauna is up and running I'd not hesitate to return!

Wonderful views with beautifully appointed and spacious rooms. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating, doing their upmost at all times. We thoroughly enjoyed the winter warmer" hot stone massage and facial and would go again

Nice location, but that's about all. Rooms are definitely starting to get run down - our room was missing parts on the bathroom spa bath (intake port cover was missing and grimy), when the service team were notified they did nothing about it. There were stains on the couch, which were dealt with by staff but shouldn't have needed to be complained about in the first place. My partner had a two hour massage, but it was underwhelming and not worth the cost. We've been coming here every year for the past six years for a nice luxury getaway, but this visit and the time before were definitely lacking. Unfortunately it's unlikely we'll be back.Overall, nice spot, but no longer worth the premium price to stay. Better to find somewhere in town that still values the customer experience.

Service of the man at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was amazing, the food was delicious as well. We really enjoyed the spa outside but it feels like that may have been the only pro. The bed was clearly two single beds put together as the middle of the mattress felt very uncomfortable to sleep in, the milk in the bar was expired leaving us feeling quite sick and shocked when drinking it thinking it was normal fresh milk, there was a random hose part in the middle of our room when we entered so the room didn't really feel 'luxurious' at all.. The bathroom was also not very clean. Probably would not book again as the only great part was dinner and the spa and views.

Here’s Johnny… I am not sure what this hotel is like in high season but in July this hotel had us waiting for the twins from The Shinning to show up at any moment. There was never anyone to be found in the front desk and it was totally empty. You would think this would mean we would get personalized service but that wasn’t the case. We ate dinner in the restaurant because our stay included complimentary cocktails there. We were the only guests eating there both times and our waiter was nowhere to be found the majority of the time. It was just confusing as to what was happening in regards to staffing. Not only was it empty but it was also FREEZING. I am talking we couldn’t walk anywhere in the hotel without two jackets on… The room was decent but the showers were clearly not user friendly both times we had one of the heads spray water all over the bathroom and the temperature was either scaling hot or cold, very temperamental. I was thrilled to see the indoor spa but the fact that it was dirty and had residual grime made it a no go for me and very disappointing. In a hotel of this caliber guest should not have to check if the bathroom is cleaned….We tried to use the gym but the lights were all out so that made it unusable. The positive was we received a complimentary spa 30 massage which was very nice. Overall we can see the potential but in the off season it was one of the most peculiar hotel experiences we have had. I would say if you are accustomed to 5 star service I would choose another hotel at least during the winter months.

Won’t lie, we were a bit skeptical to stay here after booking and seeing the googleReviews, but my partner said something to me which I think ended up being very true… “The only people who leave reviews are negative people who love to complain” lol… We had such a great stay and genuinely couldn’t fault anything. We booked the executive spa suite including dinner and breakfast. The room was so warm and the beds very comfy. Both spa and spa bath worked really well and the water pressure in the shower was something I envy lol. Everything was modern, clean and tidy. Our waiter at dinner was really lovely along with the food. Everyone seemed to have character and conversed really genuinely which made us feel a lot more welcome and more than just another booking. Will definitely be returning.

View is good. Massive room.During our stay. Electricity have gone on and off multiple times 6-7 time during one night stay. Beds is soft but in the middle theres gap so uncomfortableOne of the cabinet door in our room doesnt close. They said there are buscuit and coffee maker but all we have is cofee and tea and a kettle. We were also given expired coffe pockets. There was annoying sound in our room not sure if it was the ventelation is sound like sheet of tin moving in the wind or something . Not sure if just the wind as its a bit windy that day. Steam. And sauna is out of order!! At dinner. We have to wait 40 mins for our food and comes with a worm in one of the vege. And just told as that is part of the the vege. My husband just doesnt want to make a seen so he just said ok. Shower glas has white stuff

I wish I could rate them zero!!! Their misleading advertisement made me pay for another bed when it was their fault. Toilet was stained yellow and smelly...and the shower was smelly....spa bath inside the room also smelled....defeated the whole purpose of luxury spa experience... You can clearly see their in-between cleans are not up to even a decent standard. We could not even look forward to dinner at this hotel....had to drive out to town. Their sauna and steam room all out of order and judging from past comments, they not in a hurry to get that repaired, but advertising as such. The only plus point was the fireplace, bedding, sky TV, the physical location and gardens, and the actual building structure.......so the actual rate was a rip-off. For this....I'd rather go out to the town area and stay at a lodge or motel.Definitely not coming back here again.

Beautiful location. It was lovely to return after 7 years. The staff were very helpful. Our dinner and breakfast were included in the price, which made it easy to stay put and enjoy everything Braemar had to offer. The views and the spa also helped.
