A fantastic place to get the staples on your way home. Great selection, fantastic staff (family) all with good expert advice. You can even get your burger and 'fried chicken and chips' fix here, so while you wait, you can take a punt on some scratchies. You can grab a Lotto ticket, maybe choose a wine / beer from the fantastic selection, and enjoy the whole experience from the small but mighty shop on the hill.

Amazing food cannot recommend the chicken & chips enough, would recommend the snack pack" $8.50 for the portion size which could feed 2 adults quite easily

very warm welcome as entering. friendly staff. wide variety of items to choose from and the fried chicken strips is one of the best I've tasted very moist and the wedges were very tasty.

Best and friendliest local store I've ever encountered. Great selection of essentials, including beer, fruit/veg/meat and some sneaky hot chips. Love it.

Lived in kelson for most of my life and have really loved this place over the years and the stuff they keep adding to it, but today I was given wedges that were so soaked in greese they were practically inedable. Lightly squeezing one of the wedges caused multiple drops of greese to come drip off the end, gave the end of my finger a blister from trying to hold it and all I could taste was oil. Very dissapointed.

super Friendly and very caring Staff.SO HELPFUL .. PRIMO FRUIT AND VEG. and potted herbs.FRESH AS FRESH. NOW SELLING CHICKEN AND CHIPS with a GREAT MENU .if you cannot find what you are looking for Just ASK and the lovely family may even order it in for you.

Amazing service and delicious food. While we waited for our food there were wholesome quotes spotted throughout the store which made my day. We came all the way from Karori and it was so worth it. Thanks team
