We saw a Building report by BuildQualNZ Ltd provided for another house, and noted this was one of the most detailed Reports we had seen, so we acquired their services for a property where the report provided was very bare. Rob was a joy to deal with, we are blown away by the service, professionalism and quality provided - as well as the extremely quick turnaround time. Our queries we had on the reports findings were answered swiftly and clearly. We definitely recommend BuildQualNZ Ltd to anyone wanting a high quality, thorough report.

I can't express enough, my appreciation of BuildQuals assessment of my co-joined flats. From my experience with BuildQual, I would definitely not recommend their service!They missed major issues from my property inspection. There was structural cracking to a high boundary block wall. This was earthquake damage and had not been repaired. This damaged was clearly stated in the EQC report emailed to Rob prior to my inspection. BuildQual inspection report noted that all EQC damage had been repaired and the wall was tired. I questioned Rob on the comment tired and he stated a coat of paint will smarten that up. There was no mention in the inspection report of the block wall having stepping / damage.We also found when moving into the property the garage door railing was broken and was being held up by a piece of rope. We notice something under the carpet in one of the bedrooms. At first I thought it was a crack in the foundation, but when uplifting the carpet, it was about a metre long gap where some old cork tiles did not butt up to the underlay.I addressed these missed issues with Rob and found him to be arrogant in his response, taking no responsibly.I paid for a building inspection to pick up these kind of issues before purchasing this property..

Rob and his team offered a fantastic and quick service when we needed a fast turn around. They were in touch the same day we enquired, and had organised the inspection for the following day, with the report coming in shortly after. Great service, would highly recommend

Highly recommend Rob and his team! He saved us on the first house we went conditional on, highlighting very costly faults that the vendor's builders report did not pick up! Stuck with him for the second house we went conditional on and we are almost 6 months into our first home. Definitely will be contacting BuildQual again when we purchase our next home down the track!

BuildQual completed a report for a house that we wanted to purchase at auction. The report was extremely thorough and actually found issues that had not been found in the vendor's report, meaning that we could ensure these were addressed before we went on to be successful at our auction. Rob was an absolute pleasure to deal with- very quick to respond and went above and beyond to answer my questions as I had very little prior knowledge in this area.BuildQual had been recommended to me by a friend and I would happily recommend their services.

We got Rob and the team to provide a pre-settlement builder’s report for a new build townhouse we purchased off the plans. They were easy to deal with and did a really thorough inspection which identified a range of issues which we have got the builder to rectify. Their report also uncovered a complicated issue which required us to rectify with the Council and builders pre settlement. They also guided us through that process and provided us with invaluable support and advice. I’d highly recommend them.
