I only considered giving them 2 stars and not 1 because the place looks decent and the ingredients seemed quality ingredients but used completely wrongly.Firstly, the lines to get the ice creams are crazy and they seemed to have sections to order different things and you have to line up for each specific think you would like to order. To me that is completely insane! And awful customer experience for something that supposed to be fun and pleasant like eating deserts! We finally got to order the ice creams and wow! I have a sweet tooth but WOW the amount of sugar they must used is horrifying. Even my little kids had 3 spoons each and left the ice creams almost full cups. They told me “mummy is too sweet sorry we can’t have them” ( this is coming from kids! ) my husband and I had a couple of spoons and left the rest and had to desperately find another place to buy water to pass the sugar load… we couldn’t get water from them as that meant queuing for a long time again. The service was average and you are literally treated like a number… no wonder as the queues are very long so for the staff must be the same. Just get people in and out…Overall a very disappointing experience! And waste of money.

I have ordered a scoop of Patagonia Dark Chocolate and it tasted really good. Especially when pairing up with the crepe-like cone, so that it can neutralise the sweetness of the cone, but still able to have a hint of sweetness when eating the ice cream.A point worth mentioning is that the portion is really so generous!

Yummy dessert place! We got a caramel ice cream and a raspberry sorbet scoop, and the portions are HUGE! We can’t finish it at all but the flavours are really delicious. The raspberry sorbet taste like real raspberries. The hot chocolate is super chocolately, and the staff are really friendly. Definitely recommended!

Title: Average Experience with Great Lake ViewReview:I recently visited this store near the lake and had a mixed experience. The store itself was very crowded, and unfortunately, the cleaning process seemed slow, resulting in most of the tables being dirty for an extended period of time. However, one redeeming feature is the second-floor sofas that offer a fantastic view of the lake. Now, let's talk about the food. The cakes were undeniably cute in their presentation, but I found their taste to be rather ordinary. They didn't stand out in terms of flavor or uniqueness. On a positive note, I must mention their Hazelnut, which was truly delightful and definitely worth trying. It received a thumbs up from me!Overall, despite the store's cleanliness issues and average tasting cakes, the scenic lake view and the delicious Hazelnut made the experience somewhat enjoyable.

Nice spot in a prime position. We went a few times over a couple of days - the hot chocolates are amazing. One of the best you’ll have. But anything else is pretty expensive. Great tasting, but don’t expect a cheap snack!

I had a flat white and tiramisu. The taste of tiramisu was not as good as I'd hoped considering the price. I don't recommend it. It's also very busy so I had to wait for a while even though the cake was right in the cabinet.

Not much to be said except chocolatey delight. Everything chocolate is on offer from ice cream to churros, homemade chocolate to hot chocolate and everything in between. With the biggest ice cream I think I’ve ever had and the friendly waiting staff, this is a must visit when in South Island! With a number of shops dotted about the area, be sure to pop into one. The queue is long but moves quickly, so don’t be deterred. Whatever it is you like in the chocolate world…Patagonia has you covered!
