What a great little cafe! Smiles all round, Fantastic home made pies! and great tasteing coffee. We were TOTALLY impressed with your kindness, and such a difference from the last cafe we stopped at, from memory it was called Blah blah ..., where the owner and cafe name matched Perfectly !Well done Sapphire Cafe

Fabulous pies and coffee while riding the Pou Herenga Tai twin coast cycle trail. Smoked fish pie was the best.

Great Delicious Food and Friendly Service make this a cafe you will want to pop into more than once. Definitely recommend the burgers here. Plenty of options though to pick from with different kinds of pies (sweet ones) depending on the day.

Perfectly made coffee every visit! Garlic chips are really yummy with big servings. The French Toast, bacon & maple syrup are scrumptious. Apple pie and carrots cake are divine!I've been many times and is my go-to!

$7 pies worth every dollar. The aunties said they were fantastic just proves they are right as always about food.Sorry no photos pies were too good finished by the time the coffee was made. They sell fast.Best pie crust.

Stopped here for a coffee and a piece of their famous apple pie. Fantastic! Served with a friendly chat & smile. The pie was warmed up & served with whipped cream. Delicious.

Our group of eleven called in here on Saturday 20 March. The young girl was the only person on site having just sent another worker home as business was quiet. She was not fazed one bit and set about making and delivering coffee and food with a smile on her face. Plus she made excellent toasted sandwiches. She certainly made our impromptu visit very enjoyable.

Another good meal after long mountain bike ride. Excellent hot chocolate. Popular apple crumble all gone so settled for pumpkin pie. Just as good

We stopped at the sapphire cafe in pouring rain. We had such a kind welcome with warm towels (we were biking). The food was amazing with the most delicious home made cherry pie I have ever eaten. Thankyou for amazing hospitality. A real highlight of the twin coast cycle trail
