Can’t thank the team at Tipene enough especially our beautiful funeral director Fehi for all their hardwork in helping us celebrate the life of my late father. From the moment he was uplifted from the hospital to the moment he was lowered into his forever home, we were assisted with the utmost professional service you could ever receive from a funeral home. At times I often forgot I was dealing with a professional coordinator as Fehi made everything so easy, I felt like I was just negotiating with one of my sisters. My fathers funeral was everything we wanted and more and all your help and dedication surely took a huge burden off our shoulders during one of the hardest times for my family. Malō Aupito Tipene Funerals and Fehi for your love and service, very much appreciated. Ofa lahi atu.

Beautiful facility unfortunately the funeral director we had was not overly competent and communication was missing ... he called everyone bar me the next if kin about the funeral arrangements the only time I actually heard from him is when he was demanding money . There was no booklet offered no option given to us of having funeral sheets ... I will be laying formal complaints i have already spoken to the ombudsman about this and wi be taking action against this funeral director as he made the process more traumatic forthe family .during the service all the information and whakapapa we had told him he mixed all up he was stumbling and stuttering for what I paid I expected far far more

Tamale Taufa and Tipene Funerals are truly a gift from God. Thank you for caring for my beautiful cousin Cinthia Tuteru. From the time she passed until she was laid to rest, the level of care and compassion goes above and beyond. Tamale was our funeral director, we also had a few others throughout the funeral and every single person had a beautiful wairua and cared in the work they did. Thank you so much for that. Tamale is very gifted, he made the process for us much easier in a time when things can be difficult and tough. Thank you Tamale for all that you did for my cousin Cinthia, I know she was happy in how you cared for her and our family during this time. You are a gemTamale, we only wish you the best ahead. Māuruuru ia outou et merci beaucoup for taking care of a Tahitian woman (Cinthia) who decided that Aotearoa will be her forever home.

With living overseas I was video linked into my father's service. I was appalled at seeing my dad's feet appearing over the coffin contained on an uncovered gurney and every now and again a face peeking through a gap in the curtain to check if the service had concluded. Nowhere on the website does it state that the coffin forming their Direct Cremation package wouldn't be made to fit plus it would have cost Tipene Funerals nothing to cover the gurney making the whole experience feel like a drive through". Whilst the package was cheap the presentation didn't need to feel cheap with it."

I don't know how we managed to get through the loss of my Dad. Everything seemed so unbelievable at the time yet, you were patient and so very caring I was struggling and you gave me space and were gentle with me and showed the utmost care of my Dad and for that we are truly grateful. Fiona rocks!!! My sister's wishes and farewell/funeral was everything she'd asked and requested. Fiona kept me sane and actioned every request made by my sister, Nona what would I have done had you not been there!!!! If you want the best in Auckland, Tipene Funerals is the place to go. Losing someone you love is always hard, but they made it easy. My baby sister passed away and she never stayed away from my mother ever, they put my mum at ease with how well they looked after us and my baby sister. They helped us send our baby off the best way we could. Fehi was an amazing funeral director and she went above and beyond to ensure our little princess got her best send off. I cannot thank you all enough because at such a difficult time, you made things easy for us.
