I am having acupuncture treatment at Newtown Acupuncture Centre for a long time debilitating illness by Violaine Var-Piova and I am very happy with her treatment. She knows what she is doing and really cares for my wellbeing. I am feeling great improvement already and am confident that she will make me totally well again.

I grew up with Korean medicine (similar to Chinese medicine) and I've found it this centre is quite authentic and traditional like having a treatment back home. I've been there with several issues and it was fixed every time. This centre is the only one acupuncture centre that I recommend to other people.

I've said it once and I'll say it again... Oscar is such a miracle worker. He is kind, considerate, fits me in at the last minute at reasonable rates. He is the best masseuse I've ever encountered. More like a physio session my poor busted ankle than a massage. He figured out it was my Achilles giving me trouble all along. Before him I could barely walk. Five stars.

I have known the team at Newtown Acupuncture for over a year now and I can only highly recommend this place! All the staff are such warm and nice people and they really take that extra step to make sure you are feeling at your best when you leave, whether it is for a treatment, a massage or a class of yoga/martial arts. I thought it was about time to share my experience:I have had the best sports massage here (and believe me I have had a few over the years, all around the world). It helped me recover after an ultrarunning event and I was back on my feet in no time. The massage therapist listened very carefully and discussed the treatment before hand (rather than doing a standardised rub over the body) and made sure it wasn't too hard or too soft. It was just excellent!I also started joining martial arts classes at Newtown Acupuncture and the energy and professionalism of the teacher are outstanding. It is great to increase your strength, flexibility and coordination, but above all to join a warm and respectful group of people.About a month ago when I had a tendinitis in my ankle, I was treated at Newtown Acupuncture with light therapy in combination with massage and exercises. This injury is hard to treat and to recover from, and is known to linger for months, but with their help I recovered in a few weeks and I didn't even have to stop running!I'm so happy I discovered this place as I honestly feel a better person every time I visit.

The team at Newtown Acupuncture is wonderful. I was nervous when first attending and every treatment I've had (acupuncture, cupping, massage), has had a positive impact in my life. The pricing is clear and consistent which is greatly appreciated.They've successfully treated injuries from long that I thought would haunt me - I have broken my tailbone twice many years ago and tried many things to ease the issues 9but acupuncture here as been the only thing to relieve the pain. I initially booked appointments only for ACC but their work has made such a positive impact I now book in regularly to stay on top of the issues of an aging, chronic pain body! Today I added a massage on and it was the single best massage of my life.I've not done any classes yet but I've heard great things about their yoga and martial arts as well.
