These simply have to be seen to be believed. I'm not much of a sailer but I certainly felt like one on the water... Great experience.

We have sailed on Lake Taupo 2 weeks ago. It is amazing how easy it is to put the catamaran together, take it out on the lake and sail away. Due to its design you can sail anywhere. It was an amazing experience and I am looking forward to next time.

We went out sailing on our own Smartkat catamaran today on Lake Taupo, with an extensive explanation by one sailors of the Smartkat team about the new boat we bought and how to set it up, after 20 minutes of instructions I was already sailing myself and we had a great time!

Most awesome product I've seen for the summer!

Driving along the road to taupo we stopped at a cafe just before coming in to town. Some of these boats were on display and I was even able to sail one with the dealer who had organised the day. It felt surprisingly stable and the quality is exellent. I love the idea of it fitting in the back of my car and my shed. We stayed much longer than expected and even took one of our kids along later who loved the splatter. We never made it to taupo that day... we needed to dry our clothes in the sun.Due to the design of inflatabele round riggers it does not cut though the water as much as a true" catamaran. But it will easily get you upwind and who cares if you need to tack an extra time when it is about having fun.Luckily my wife was there too that day because I could feel the money burning in my pocket. I will keep my eye out for this boat and hope for some extra support when my son turns "sailing age""
