Reasonably priced food and coffee was tasty. Small staffing. So understandable that food can take about 30min. They even have it written on the board. Muffins looked good.

Definitely a hidden gem! Food was great. The pork belly salad was delicious and fish and chips were hot and crispy. Also tried the Matariki mussels which were nice too. Lovely setting by the eel pondoverlooking the beautiful waka. Only con is lack of seatings/ big tables? Patrons coming from after the Waitingi tour and others so people are waiting for tables especially closer to lunchtime. Would return again next time we visit.

A fantastic spot and very friendly service. I thought the eggs bene was a little pricey... but look at how generous it was! Everything cooked to perfection. Good strong, hot coffee. A great option if you're exploring the area.

Lovely spot and the staff were fantastic. Really enjoyed the breakfast and we have stopped in a few times to have a coffee/tea. Highly recommend.

They are either very under staffed or desperately need some training on how to run a café efficiently. The queue was very long and the staff seemed confused about the orders and/or what to do next. I feel for them and the patrons like us who waited a long time for their food yesterday, I’m sure with some training or more staff they will do better next time.

Lovely spot for some brunch with very friendly staff. Food was amazing, the waffles were the best I've had at any cafe in NZ! Although it was not very busy the food did take some time due to staffing shortages but we were more than happy to wait. Keep up the good work guys!

Hangi pie. $12. Huge disappointment. One tiny piece of meat- no more than a full teaspoon. Rest was potato. And a gravy but not much. Huge pouch of pastry incongruous with amount of filling. We bought two. So $24 for two pies. Not good
