Lovely park for all ages, beautiful setting

A lovely refreshing scenic place to enhan ce your morning fitness and exercise simply magic and encouraging.All age groups children teens adults usually out and about doing their regular morning activity - walks ,run, occasional skateboarding , and biking .There is so much to do a great place for family activity.

Anderson parkrun is where my parkrun journey begun, back in early 2018. Shortly after, my whole family started parkrunning and there was no looking back.Trish & Eric, the Event Directors are super lovely and their team of Run Directors and volunteers are amazing too.The event is a picture perfect with wildlife & lakes, a sealed concrete path the whole way around the park. There is ample parking, toilets, modern playground & many parkrunners join socially afterwards at the New World Cafe across the road.parkrun events are in most cities across New Zealand & globally. Each event is free and provided by volunteers.
