We are delighted with Rakau Toa Tree Specialists. We purchased a property that had a massively invasive bamboo problem. Bamboo had crept under concrete paths, and into neighbouring properties as well as through the lawn. We had several tree specialists look at the problem, and say it was too big an issue. Emerson from Rakau Toa checked out the job, and quoted. We accepted the quote. Rakau Toa made very short work of the bamboo (I can't overstate how bad it was). They dug down so as to get rid of roots, and brought in top soil. We are just delighted with the finished job. Such a relief to be rid of the nuisance bamboo. We very much appreciated the efficient service. Can't go without mentioning Katrina, the friendly office person. Phone contact always cheerful and efficient. Great team work Rakau Toa.

They were quick to respond and provided a competitive quote. Completed the service quickly and were tidy except they left a stump about 1.2m above ground. After asking them to come complete the job and get the stump lower they said they would but never came back, then charged more than they originally quoted. Had to get another company in to finish the job.

Emerson and his team from Rakau Toa Tree Specialists recently removed a hedge that was causing me some problems. His team did an excellent job and were top notch with communication too. Hedge was promptly removed and the overall price for this work was very fair and reasonable. I'd highly recommend Rakau Toa Tree Specialists. Emerson is a really nice guy to deal with and I'll be using him again next time I require this type of work.
