Room amenities are very limited. Service was poor and not worth for money.

No staff on check in. Key left in envelope at reception desk. Place was empty and all facilities closed. Garden was overgrown and pool empty. Towels were lined against windows in one area that suggested leaking. We cut our losses and walked out.

Spa and swimming pool are not open! Bar looks 1950 style. Dining Tables and sofa lay out are very unprofessional. You need to put sofas & tea tables near by fire woods area.Secondly, room need to improve immediately.- No rubbish bin in room- Curtain is not good enough to block the light from outside. My room is still light even though lights off in room! Come bs try at night Manager!3. I could not sleep because of snoring sound from next room! This building need to be upgraded with insulation between the rooms!!!Waste money!

Noone available to check in, phoned 3 times, used after hours phone 3 times, emergency cellphone 1 time, even emailed and had no response. After 20 minutes of trying to check in. I left and returned an hour later to find my room key in an envelope. Still no staff to be seen. Ghost town

Needs refurbishment now. Not really suitable for winter accommodation. Untidy throughout (including the outside). Runs out of hot water by 6pm! No restaurant but bar does open (hmm, serving alcohol without food?).

This place sucks. No staff at reception throughout the stay. whole place felt unwelcoming and dirty/ smelt bad, pool doesn't work but they don’t say that before purchasing , room a bit dirty ( dead flys on window sill, pubic hair from previous visitor in shower?)body wash dispenser empty in shower, no plates or bowl or cutlery in room, no microwave, the entire place had horrible depressing lighting and you can hear every single thing people in rooms around you are doing . didn’t talk to staff at all during stay because there didn’t seem to be any? this place is by no means a “Resort” . almost left the same day we got there! the place was so sad

Very underwhelmed by this venue. Paid extra to stay at resort, but pool closed, restaurant & bar closed & virtually no staff. Service very poor as no one there on check in or out & when they did turn up, struggled to find my booking. I felt forgotten and some what unwelcome... sigh. Rooms were clean, tidy & comfy bed. Thank goodness for the pub down the road so I could eat out.

Lovely location and the room was great, beds comfy.However I was not impressed that the cleaning ladies were cleaning the room opposite ours at 7.30am, door open and chatting away. I was trying to sleep! And all I can hear are the 2 ladies waffling on!! Not impressed!You can hear what guests are doing in the next room as well.

The resort is old, the rooms are dilapidated, the lift is not working, you can hear people from the outside, yes it was noisy, the toilet vent is somewhat connected to the other rooms and you can hear someone's using the other loo, the only advantage for this place is accessible from the centre and safe for parking space and thats all about it.

Lovely building. Pools are being renovated so closed. Lack of staff meant restaurant and bar were shut. Pity as its a beautiful bar. Only cups and glasses in room. No plates at all!! No electric blanket tho wall heater kept us warm. Very clean room. Staff very helpful bringing extra towel when asked. A grand old lady now having quiet times. Should run a weekend Disco as a great dance floor.
