Perfect buns and juicy fragrant thighs, and that was just the chicken burger!Easy parking, good access, comfortable, funky environment, fast service, generous portions. Excellent tunes and delightful staff. Was too hungry to take before pics of food.Hundies will go again.

Really enjoyed our lunch and drinks at Roots Bar. The burgers and fries were amazing. Burgers were very well crafted and fries were crispy and fluffy, one of a kind! Great selection of drinks and a relaxing garden space. Will definitely return when we are next in Takaka.

Simply best food in the Country!!I'm a carnivore, but the way the vegetables are done... I could happily become a vegetarian. Has a great atmosphere and friendly staff.From steak to vegan burger you won't be disappointed!!

Super pumping and busy bar/restaurant and great choice of food on the menu. We really loved the fried chicken and tacos. Various seating areas inside and out giving lots of options.

Decent place to stop by for a meal or beverages. Indoor and outdoor seating. Place can fill up quickly so make a Rez if needed. Food was tasty as were the beverages. Table service was ok, be prepared to wait as help in this area is limited.

Fantastic service. We dined as a family and my daughter has significant food allergies and they catered for her safely. It was an enjoyable experience.The Happy Meal Burger was delicious too!
