Broke down in Johnsonville carpark 8.30 on Friday night. Great service from the guys on the phone and in the truck and a very quick service. Eric was a pleasure to deal with and very helpful. Happy to recommend this team

Helped me put twice in the same day when what I thought was a flat battery was actually a dead battery. Kind and patient every step of the way, and want to give extra thanks to the driver Mike who was not only friendly, but knowledgeable and super helpful. As good as an unexpected towing experience can be!

Never dealt with such bad/rude customer service in my life! We’re supposed to be towed using this company through AA breakdown. We were stuck at the beginning of transmission gully broken down in one of the lanes with no safe space to pull over. So we were in a very dangerous position on the motorway. We were trying to arrange a tow through Sandra who was not accomodating and would not sort us a tow to an open mechanic. She was very rude huffed and puffed at me through the phone nearly reducing me to tears as I wanted to be towed to the only open mechanic in Wellington. My safety was not taken into consideration as she would not send a tow until they sorted a location to tow too. She told me she would call me back once she confirmed if they could take me to Lower Hutt. I did not get a call back for another 2 HIURS! We ended up having to source another tow. And after two hours I finally got a call back. To have Sandra huff and buff again and hang up on me when I said I never heard back from her and I needed to get off the motorway for my own safety. She didn’t even let me finish the sentence before hanging up. Overall terrible service, hostile and rude!

My car was towed through my insurance company & the tow truck driver was lovely. However, I had to contact the towing company directly to get some photos, yet the lady on the phone (Sandra I believe?) was so incredibly rude. Along with generally being unkind to me, she said my car was a piece of junk & couldn't believe that anybody would bother fixing it (multiple times). Absolutely terrible customer service experience. I am shocked that this company allows this person to talk to customers like this.

We had a DREADFUL time trying to get our band’s van into a dealership when it broke down on the highway 5 hours before we had to play a wedding. It was an absolute sh*t show - but the guy who towed us was SUPER awesome. He really went out of his way and took us to five places when none of the dealerships had enough mechanics because they were “sick” (it’s a public holiday tomorrow) and patiently waited whilst we sorted out a rental. Cheers Total Towing, we made the gig and the bride and groom had a great time. Wouldn’t have been possible without you. Legends, 5 stars, thanks so much!!

Amazing work from the team at Total towing, when everyone else was too lazy to help us get our car home they showed up. When you call, someone actually answers instead of getting an automated response. Will definitely save their number for the future.

(Total towing Seaview) I talked to two ladies on the phone today (one was lovely) though the other was extremely rude towards me on the phone she was practically telling me to hurry up with viewing my car and that it had been there too long. (Four days) This is despite me calling them on the day they had told me to call them just to be denied and having to call them again the following day after they had said they would call me and hadn’t. I then had to wait half an hour for the guy to turn up to unlock the gates only to be greeted with a terrible and rude attitude. Overall staff were very unprofessional and rude. Definitely do not recommend.
