Tony's Tyre Service Church Street

They hadn't even started work on my car when I arrived after being at work for 8 hours. They lied saying the paperwork needed to be done then began quickly repairing the car????? Absolutely shocking. Never use these guys

I have been a customer of the store for a reasonable amount of time now and their service wasn't too bad. However, I've recently had an issue with the way they handle their mistakes. During my last visit, they did not properly install the hub cap and I lost it on my way home from the service centre. When I called and spoke to the store manager, he said it was damaged at the workshop and they will replace it (I was only told of the damage after I called them to inform them about the issue). 3 weeks went by and no call regarding the replacement from the store. I went to the store and spoke to the manager who had no recollection of the conversation but assured me that he will replace it and made a note of it in his diary. 3 weeks have gone by since then and no response from him yet.- Since posting the above, I received a call from the manager within an hour of this post and this was resolved within the hour. Appreciate it.

Got very good service couple of weeks ago. I just dropped in and they fixed my car without making any fuss for timing or lack of prior booking. Efficient lads and manager. Friendly and helpful. Keep up the great service guys. Thank you.

Needed replacement tires urgently and even though I hadn’t made an appointment and they were busy, they were very accommodating with doing the job in a timely manner at reasonable price. Awesome friendly service and will be using again ✅

FEMALE'S BE AWAREHad a screw in back tyre, all Tyres tubeless, with out checking or taking tyre off so call big boss says it is not fixable as were screw was went on about wires, ratio, radius etc and I will need to replace for $220. plusTook car to another Tyre outfit (Orizen tyres)were a floor worker took a look at Tyre informed me that they won't be able to say how much to fix until they remove the screw, made sense to me, no repair needed as screw was a very small one, however worker checked all my tyres and found the problem which was in the front tyre another small screw this was remove hole was repaired all this service for $20, you do the maths people.WILL NOT RECOMMEND TONY TYRES EVER, rating of 1 star for the clean driveway only

Big mistake coming here. I don't think they know what they are doing. If they did, they would know at least to a ballpark figure of how much it will cost. Anyways we just paid half the value of the car for an old car which we could have sent to the scrapyard. The mechanic was nice, but the quote was misleading and is borderline daylight robbery.

Not the greatest service to be honest, the initial person who helped me advised I only needed one tyre to be replaced, didn’t suggest doing both tyres on the axel (which is standard). It was also replaced with an entry level budget tyre even though the rest of my set were Toyo tyres, high quality tyres specifically used in hybrid vehicles. Also charged me for a valve even though my original ones were left on the car.

driving from Akl to Chch is pretty exhausting! what more when you realised you have a punctured tyre mid trip? went straight to tony tyre at 430pm and was welcomed straight away!!!! They helped us straightaway without any hesitations and for FREE!SO THANKFUL AND GAVE US OUR PEACE OF MIND! ✌️

Julian and Andrew were very very helpful! Andrew explained exactly what was wrong with my tires/car & really took me seriously which was great. They picked up on problems that many other tire places in the country had missed over the past year despite me bringing up my concerns. I would definitely recommend visiting this Tonys tires!I also came in last minute without an appointment & they were able to order in tires from the Levin store & replace my tires the next morning just before I left town, so were very accomodating!Their quote also matched what they charged me in the end, and it was a reasonable price for everything I had done, so I'm very happy!
