These guys impress me time after time. Simon and his team really look after us, frequently turning around repairs same day on our busy work van. Always good communication and sensible estimates even when they're flat out. Highly recommended!

Mechanic told me there were just a few small things + radiator to get the Wof, he then went ahead with lots of work not asked for, charged exorbitantly for work and parts. I was charged over double what he had estimated and went ahead with without my say so, and would not release the car until payed. Had to get a bank loan to pay for unexpected and unmentioned cost - Not to mention that 4 months after it was supposedly fixed, the car completely broke, with the radiator that had just been replaced being the fault. Would not recommend, takes advantage of the customer.

These guys are an amazing team! So friendly and helpful, a real community feel. Their work is outstanding and we have been using Brandons for many many years.

Absolutely recommend!Simon is a trustworthy, expert mechanic. He responded immediately to my vehicle and worked over-time just so that he could get the car back to me asap! He also picked up on a major separate issue that I otherwise wouldn't have known about! He explained the whole situation to me in a really calm and simple manner, and maintained communication with me throughout, which took away a lot of the stress I was going through.Keep up the great work Simon and thanks again for doing such a great job. :)

It’s overpriced when I replaced tyres, not recommended.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. I guess they saw my son coming - for a WOF. Quoted over $2500 initially. He paid $270 for oil change and WOF inspection before we intervened. When we asked for more detail on the rest, most items well overpriced. We will be going elsewhere.

the shop checked my car and told me to fix 5 issues with over $3000 to pass the wof. I went to other wof professional and passed the wof without any cost

DO NOT RECOMMEND. I took my car to Brendon Motors Karori, out of convenience, for WOF. It was my first time here and definitely the last! They failed my WOF for a broken headlamp. When I asked if it is repairable, they said it is non-repairable and must be replaced for $535.00. I’m glad I went for a 2nd opinion at Kilbirnie Motors just before my appointment! The damage was only to the bracket, very minor and completely repairable! All it needed was some epoxy which they did on the spot. All for $30! In addition to that, they also passed my WOF. I cancelled my appointment with Brendon Motors Karori but they asked me to purchase the parts for $346.00 because they have already ordered it and it cannot be returned. I sought legal advice and did not purchase it. Brendon Motors, did you know this is under the Fair Trading Act? “Misleading the public about the nature of the service”. In my case, insisting something must be replaced when the fact is that it can be repaired for $30.

Be wary of taking an EV in here. Took mine here for a service as I wanted something electrical checked. Came away with a $700 bill. Went to another mechanic (EV specialist) a few weeks later and they were befuddled by what Brendon had charged me for.

They diagnosed my car's mechanical problem accurately and fixed it super quickly. My car is now running better than ever. Very pleased with the service received.
