Movenpick Newmarket

Their pantry food is dry & tastes like the fridge. Seems like they treat it like their frozen ice-cream, keeping it there until it sells.I should've known when I saw them keep the jars of cookies sitting in the unopened shop for a week or two before opening.Not 1 star since their late opening times are nice & their ice-cream is good.

Me and my friends got some waffles with a variety of toppings. I was unable to get any strawberry sauce as it was quite late when I had purchased them but the staff were very understanding! Tasted delicious and I definitely recommend the strawberry flavour for some freshness with the chocolate!

Place: very spacious, clean, definetly worth visiting if you are craving for sweets and a good place to stay for dessertWaffles:i had the chocolate one, added some swiss dark chocolate. Waffles were 9/10 for me, 9 only because its way to priceyCrepes: my kids had the oreo and nutella banana. Crepes 9/10, only 9 because again too pricey.All in all worth visiting , if you dont mind spending more for your dessert!!

tribble customer service.The guy rushed us to order while there was no one waiting there.The cone was burned, and we could taste the carbon under our teeth, but we didn't dare to share it with the staff as he was not welcoming!I recommend Movenpick to consider restraining their staff at this branch or somehow keep them motivated to be more welcoming and customer oriented.

I ordered the chocolate lava cake many times before and I assure you this was probably my worst experience. The lava cake usually comes in a medium sized cup however this time it was a round small circle that was on the plate. I took a bite and it tasted disgusting. I asked my partner to try it and he confirmed this did not taste good. It was gooey, cold, bitter and had a odd flavour. I asked the staff as it tasted really bad and they said “it’s a new receipe” we can’t do much and carried on. We were extremely disappointed as we paid $19.90 for this and it was hard to eat. Movenpick is quick to increase their prices and decrease the size of the choc lava cake, but little did we know they would alter the taste too! I definitely do NOT recommend this.

Movenpick Newmarket is one of the best ice cream/dessert pop ups in all of Newmarket. The staff are absolutely friendly, super nice and professional towards customers. The service was 10/10 and personally a staff member told me to write up a review so here it is!! I ordered the strawberry crepe with the side of a scoop of mango ice cream and raspberry sorbet. Crepe - 8/10, Mango ice cream - 9/10 and the raspberry sorbet - 5/10 ( as I was expecting the Strawberry and raspberry sorbet but it was out of stock) :( Overall I would definitely come back !! Well done team.

Understaffed, underwhelmed but massively overpriced. There was only one employee managing the entire store. The girl had absolutely no sense of direction whatsoever, friend asked for a double scoop ice cream in a cup and instead got two singles in two separate cups costing much more and it was not what she asked for. Charged us for taste tests and didn’t tell us prior to doing so, instead dumped it on us at the eftpos machine and never once mentioned it. Then she turned her back to me and ignored me (who was immediately next in line) to do some non urgent things eg refilling something while letting a big queue create behind me. Once the girl finally got to me I had to specify many times I was asking for a double scoop which means two scoops in the same cup. Disappointed to say the least and will not done back to Newmarket movenpick again.

Been going to movenpick for quite some time, specifically for the vanilla brownie thick shake. But all I can say is the milkshake tastes like sweet milk with mild hints of vanilla and brownie and all this for 15 dollars. Don’t know how they feel comfortable charging such exorbitant rates for mediocre products.Extremely disappointed

terrible customer service. staff needs to be trained properly. ordered waffle and waited for 30mins. we ended up getting refund for it but staff didnt know how to cancelle eftpos card to refund then gave me whole a lot of coins. so annoying. also not hygenic at all. touch everything with gloves on and didnt see him wash hands while I was staying there.
