Outstanding Bike Shop & Repair Service. VERY experienced and Technically competent. On holiday & traveling with my Gravel bike. Another shop (different part of NZ) worked on the headset and declared it fixed". Just the opposite. A happy Coppins customer recommended the Bike Repair service. Great little shop with really good selection of bikes... but OMG! The service was non existent. Not sure if the staff are family members, but they need training in customer service and product knowledge. I think the guy who knows stuff was busy with a customer, but the 2 young lads were useless. Pity as went in to buy a bike, but the first lad told me to ask the person behind the bike counter, who didn’t even acknowledge me when I came in. I asked how much a bike was that was missing a label, the answer “I don’t know off the top of my head”.... awesome, are you able to look it up? Coppins has a good reputation so maybe I was unlucky, but if I’m coming into a shop to spend $3k I want to feel like it’s important to them. This was on Saturday.

I arrived with a totally flat tyre. Had instant service and extra advice about the pressure recommended for the types of rides I do. Tyre was completely checked, a new inner tube put in and all with a smile and a reasonable price. Totally recommend.

Lots of stock and pleasant staff. Good quality items for the outdoors.Large shop with local kneledge. Bike shop at rare. Lots of parking as connected to supermarket parking.

Excellent customer service.The team at Coppins kept up solid communication during an epic 4-month process ordering in a Rhino fork adaptor.The goal posts kept on getting moved by the supplier and when it finally arrived the price had gone up.But the team honored the quoted price without me even having to ask!Thanks for such fantastic service
