An amazing shorter Walk - Hike - Run.... Of around 7.5km LOOP. Most is under a tree canopy... so relatively protected from rains and wind.. Best NOT to be done on the icy days of winter.... its brutal....

Mt Crichton Loop Track Parking
Starting off point for Mt Crichton Loop. The walk takes you through mostly beech forest areas on a well made track. Plenty of information signs explaining the gold mining history of the area and things to look out for. Will pass the historic Sam Summers hut. The track will take you back to the start or you can deviate off to the Lake Dispute track, but this will mean a 20 minute walk along the busy Glenorchy–Queenstown Road back to the car park. 9km this route, 400m elevation gain

It took me like for 3 hours. Not too easy. I recommend parking-lake dispute scenic reaerve track. :)
