My wife and i had our first formal date was here, 12 years ago. We have come dozens of times since, and have never been disappointed. When we heard you were closing, we booked a table, loaded the kids in the car and drove 5 hours to come for a last meal. Ditching the kids with family, we arrived and with slightly heavy hearts we entered... The service has always been great here and this was no exception.. Friendly staff who have time to chat, good vibes and positive attitudes make us eagerly returning customers. We werent too sure about the QR code ordering system, cos we're pretty old school to a degree, but we managed it without issues and even spotted a few easter eggs" hidden in the menu. They gave us a good laugh. We ordered our favourites and took in the scenery for the last time. The taco salads arrived and were perfect (as always). Balanced

Will definitely come back! So glad I left my cost hotel in the city to visit this authentic Mexican restaurant. The set up, margarita, food and free salsa and corn chips took me right back to my trip through the states. Had the rib special so very happy with the price and the meal was delicious

Busy when I visited Saturday for lunch,however service was prompt and efficient. Good $15.50 lunch menu option as well as a full menu option. Wings were tasty and the overall food was plentiful and tasty. Plenty of Mexican beers to choose from as well as other brands. Well worth a visit and the view on a clear day was impressive.

Had dinner. Chicken is halal. Although portions are small. For 28$ the nachos were probably not worth that, but taste was good. Remember you don’t get nachos the way you get them US. For some reason kiwis love to put cheese on it and that too mostly cheddar. Chipotle prawns were spicy and good. 29$.Chicken burrito was ok. Once again not worth 28$.Overall 3.5 for taste and 3/5 for value. once a visit definitely.

I've been here a few times now. The atmosphere is quite nice - there was lives music the last time I went and there is a lot of decor, including a bearded dragon. The guys is pretty good and the portions aren't so big you feel bloated afterwards. Will definitely come back at some point

I go here for the chimichanga although I hadn't been here for awhile but was looking forward to it. I feel like it may have shrunk since the last time I was here? I thought a fresh salad was necessary or at least more of the freshly diced tomatoes. Our waiter was friendly and location is great for Mission Bay. Check out the resident iguanas, Cancun and Juanita (in hibernation mode on the night of my visit). I look forward to branching out and trying something different from the menu and dessert of course on my next visit.

We sat at a table by the window so had good views of the park and sea. Ambience was lovely but the service was hit and miss depending on who you got. My tequila lime chicken had some heat but there was no depth of flavours and my mojito tasted a little weak. The overpriced dessert was a bit disappointing. Just a slice of strawberry and whipped cream in a small pastry.

Just give a review on my takeaway today.This is my second time visit. First time was great, but not this time.I ordered tacos and pork ribs, everything was just light warm(I live 3 mins away from the store), taco base was broken and also they missed my curly fries. I called them and they made me a standard fries with “curly fries” on the receipt. I don’t know if they meant to do with a return customer but this is not acceptable to me.
