It is a must go" place in Hokitika. I visted the place 10 years ago and still find it amazing today. It is better to go in week day between 10:30am to 4pm when the workshop is opened. It is amazing to see how they put the colour in the glass and shape them."

Glass work is beautiful, the staff are very unfriendly and unhelpful even after purchasing items…

Loved the 5 figurines I got here. So many options to choose from :) items were packed well for travel, it's just a shame that the person serving us was a bit rude, but otherwise we had a great experience

Such a beautiful studio that you don't want to miss if you are in hokitika. Their working station is just behind the counter, if you're lucky and walk in the right time, you can see how some glasses are being made into different colours and shapes. All their glass works are fascinating, the owner is also very friendly and happy to tell you the stories or processes of how each work was created, considered he's not busy at that time. They also make beautiful memorial glass works encapsulates a love one or pets cremation ashes into glass. The only downside for this studio is they're quite pricey but I truly believe they worth it.

Such lovely pieces here! My kids bought me a glass mushroom for my birthday and brought me in to choose the colour myself. The person working there was very helpful as I took ages making my final choice! Really happy with my wee mushroom.

Exquisite glassware, tend to do a lot of my Christmas shopping here each year. A must visit for tourists to get the perfect unique NZ souvenirs, plus a chance to watch the glassblower in action.

Stopped in for Christmas presents and to watch the glass blowing. We bought a pair of beautiful gifts. We were a bit early so had a bit of a chat. The guys were friendly and when we came back later enjoyed watching them make Kiwi & Penguins. Our 8yo was fascinated and would have stayed longer.
