Beautiful little walks with two different lookouts and a bigger route to walk. Spend nearly a day wandering around there.

Mores Scenic Reserve - Riverton
Mores Scenic Reserve is the starting point for three short but scenic trails: Mores Coastal Loop Track, Kings Track and the Hilltop Trail. In the carpark, there's a fab view overlooking the wee town of Riverton. It's also a popular picnic spot, complete with a long drop toilet, rubbish bin and picnic table. Walk the trails to see Riverton's back beach and famous balancing rock.

Nice short 20 min round-trip gravel trail in forest up to windy wooden lookout deck. Great views cross to Stewart Island, up coast, and down to Riverton Estuary.

Amazing place for a quick looksie from a scenic lookout or a longer hike down to the beach. There are two trails that lead to lookouts with awesome views that take less than 30 minutes return. There's a long drop bathroom and some picnic tables at the main parking lot. Access is by gravel road.

Very picturesque, safe clean car park and toilet. There is a nice semi secluded picnic area and the walk to the top of the lookout area is quite easy.

Cool for the kids to see the Christmas doors along the walkway - appeared popular as a fair few families out at the same time. Good effort from the Riverton Community

love this place. spot the local wildlife on the way up and then there’s a donation tin for park preservation at the trail entrance. beautiful area.
