Holiday Inn Express & Suites Queenstown, an IHG Hotel

Nice rooms with classy features, great location for walking around the foreshore, and close to the airport, too. Free breakfasts have plenty on offer, and nice quality food too. Views are good, even on the mountain-facing side. Friendly and helpful staff. Would for sure stay here again in future!

Visited back in March 2023. The staff made the experience wonderful as our flight was delayed. They also offered great recommendation for my wife and I as it was our honeymoon. Would definitely stay here.Rooms had an interesting aspect as the bathroom door also acted as the shower door. Not a negative, but definitely an odd set up.

I really liked this accommodation. It was modern, clean and well designed. The free breakfast was great! And the service was fantastic - they really went above and beyond to make it a good experience and offer tips for our holiday. While the room was really nice and modern, it’s ideal for one person - not two. The shower is a glass cubicle in the middle of the room. Aside from feeling exposed, it’s really difficult to use the bathroom/shower (light, noise, etc) without disrupting the other person.

This ain’t no inn, it’s an excellent top shelf hotel!We stayed for two nights in peak summer season and were so happy with the decision. Rooms are well appointed and modern, laundry facilities available on each floor and breakfast included. The foyer / restaurant area is a great place to relax and have a bite to eat as well. Location is really good, as long as you don’t mind walking up down and up a steep hill to get to the main part of town (it’s a 7 min walk). There is a bus on the street outside if the walk doesn’t appeal to your.Would stay again - mountain/town view room is great!

ReviewsMy wife and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express for 7 nights. The staff were friendly, a big thanks to Jackson who ensured we had a great stay. We stayed in a room with a King bed, it was comfortable and we slept well. The room and bathroom were clean, the shower had good pressure and water was always hot. The room was quiet with a view towards the mountains. The breakfast was ample, including the usual scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, baked beans, hash browns plus either grilled tomatoes or mushrooms depending on the day. There was also cereal, fruit, muffins and toast. We’d definitely stay here again.
