Best place to get your craft needs, especially if you come during their sale time. Staff members are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The shop arrangement ha improved and much easier to find items. A definite one stop shop for all of you your crafts and arts needs and wants. Parking spaces are shared with the other shops in the area.

What an absolutely terrible store, I left feeling quite upset and intimidated by the manager herself!Firstly spent a good 15 mins trying to find the fabric before giving up and asking.. although the counter staff only checked it was in stock and pointed us in the direction.After waiting in line again, I get told it was $11.20 a metre (down from 19). I said the website stated $9 and she assumed I had the wrong material.I showed her my phone with the website price of $9 (down from 19), and she said I was probably on the Aus website in rude tone. I then had to prove it was the NZ store and asked if she needed my membership details as it was a VIP deal, but she clearly replied that it wouldnt make a difference for some reason, and continued to refuse to honour the advertised price and said it would be $11.20. Honestly, I have never before had an unpleasant experience with Spotlight, but id never been to the Henderson store, I was really blindsighted.Just to be clear, we checked with the front counter staff after who advised us it was the manager herself who had served us, and when checking stock on their scanner, they confirmed it was coming up as $9 per metre

For Mother's Day I spent over $300 just for the decorations and dining table setting..They have a good stock available for many occasions and the parking is excellent for both families and customers with wheelchairs and/or pushchairs for children!

This store has alot of stuff even though notably smaller than other spotlight stores, what i was most impressed by was the friendliness of the staff. They greeted you on arrival and were extremely helpful. Such a nice personal experience for a big box store like spotlight

Excellent service from staff. 2 lovely friendly ladies. I bought 4x curtain ties for my lounge curtains. Great value for a quality product.

I am a frequent flyer at this store. It has a good variety of craft items and I can usually find what I need there. Staff are generally pretty friendly and helpful. I like that you can pay at the cutting counter for fabric and anything else you are buying rather than having to drag everything to the front of the store. The carpark has recently been resurfaced and reconfigured and has a much more practical arrangement now.Update: slightly disappointed that they have reduced the selection of crochet/embroidery cotton availability. However my review still stands.

I have been to the store twice in the last week only to be greeted at the door by someone who thinks it's okay to refer to strangers as love" and "dear" What is wrong with simply saying "Goodmorning" with a smile on your face."

Except for a lovely lady at the checkout, the staff here seem miserable. The lady at the fabric measuring was overwhelmed with just 1 other customer waiting. Prices match the quality - it's all just kinda okay.
