Morere Lodge

What an idyllic spot with sheep, trees, river, and a swing bridge - what's not to love? It was the perfect place to relax. The cabin was nice and comfy, I recommend this place. I'm glad I found it, we'll definitely be back.

My partner, brother and mother in-law spent one night here and overall they did not like their experience unfortunately. They were out of power at their cottage for a few hours yet the main house by the property had power so that was quite unfair. Also, they had no gas to operate the gas stove so had no means of cooking any food (and it was only a small LPG bottle used with bbqs). Overall, ot a good experience for them and the price wasn't fair for them and we feel they should be discounted due to having no power and gas. That is all

Real country feel, gumboots, puddles, muddy driveway and parking. Neat and tidy cottage and cabin 1. No TV in cabin 1,and only a column heater. Ok for work 1 night.

Gorgeous spot, absolutely loved our stay. Very clean and well appointed cabins in a beautiful setting, would definitely stay again. Can't recommend more highly.

What an amazing place to stay! Tucked into beautiful bush setting alongside a stream with unique and varied types of accommodation to suit couples, families and groups. We had a wonderful visit and our hosts were fantastic. We had lovely walks around the land, a delicious breakfast at the cafe and also enjoyed the hot pools just across the road. We will definitely be going back and thoroughly recommend this unique place to stay. Many thanks Poul and Julie for your hospitality.

Beautiful homestead on a lovely stretch of land. Stayed here for a night during long weekend and wish we'd stayed longer!!Were welcomed upon arrival, shown around and settled in well. Lots of comfy warm rooms and beds with updated bathrooms. The fire was lovely and the heaters in each room were fantastic for the cold night.The glow worms were awesome to go and see and of course the hot springs are right across the road.Contact with the hosts was fantastic and since they were so close, things were easily sorted.Internet reception wasn't the greatest, but that's a bonus as we were able to just relax and enjoy our stay together!

What an amazingly peaceful and beautiful place to stay after a long drive.the accomodation was clean, roomy and private, we looked out on little lambs playing in the fields while we had a glass on wine in the evening and breakfast in the morning. The couple who run it were so nice when we had to reschedule twice and worked to make it work for us - thank you.

Great spot. Near the hot springs. Self contained cabins, cottage and large homestead/lodge. Peaceful idyllic farm setting, though there is the occasional rumble of large trucks on the main road.Friendly hosts. Was a little muddy when I was there...but overall a great place to stay.

We didn't stay here, but we did eat at the café. We'd been informed that there's an excellent chef residing here currently and boy were they correct! The best burgers I've ever tasted. Delicious - blue cheeseburger highly recommended. All three staff were friendly, cheerful, and informative. Thank you for being such a special place.
