Jaycar is fantastic! Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. It's my first port of call when fixing a piece of equipment or planning a project. Prices are competitive too. My only criticism would be that they don't carry a wider range of passive components and integrated circuits. However I do understand it would literally be impossible to hold everything in stock at all times so I stand by my 5 star review.

Very Disappointing! I was looking for a different power supply plug than the one on my new laptop charger. First salesperson told me Jaycar didn't sell those items anymore, offered me another new charger at more than twice the price I'd just paid. Went to look for myself and found another, more helpful, sales person who located the correct item for me (now stored behind the counter, ie no customer access) at the much more modest price of $2.60.

Very impressed with Jaycar Lower Hutt. I love looking at all the gadgets. And the staff are so helpful. I'm impressed by their willingness to help me track down the correct components, even the $0.70 ones! And the parking is outstanding. I'm in a wheelchair and Jaycar Taranaki St is truly inaccessible for people with mobility issues. So I'm very grateful to have full access to such an interesting shop. Thanks so much! And finally, it's awesome that you guys have filled the component gap left by David Reid and Dick Smith. Cheers Jaycar. You're Awesome.
