Mt Cook Ski Planes & Helicopters

It was a great experience. Not only did we have fantastic weather we had a fantastic pilot (Dylan) who really looked after us and made sure we were comfortable and secure at all times. It was a magical experience that we would happily even repeat!! worth every penny.

It would be one of the best experience in your life and in new zealand. I wanna wegley hike also for next time if weather allow me. Heli hike was so perfect than i thought. Thank you so much for our guide Paul that was last work for heli hike. Take care Paul ^^

An amazing experience, helped by the weather gods shining on us on the day. My original booking was for the next day when it was due to rain, but lucky for us there were 2 spots available the day before. We felt well looked after, the pilot was professional and informative. The view spectacular - we even got to see a Kea not far away from us. Landing in the snow was a unique experience. Highly recommended.

Wonderful experience and we’re glad we spent the time to do it. Weather was fantastic even though we catered an additional day in case of inclement weather, so if you’re planning to do it, be mindful of the weather. Great helicopter ride out into the glaciers and we spent some time walking around the glaciers learning about the mountains around. Our guide, Scott was fantastic! Never a dull moment and we learned a lot from his vast knowledge about the area and about the ice and rock forms etc. Shoes socks and gloves were provided for the trip as well. Overall we had an enjoyable experience and would definitely recommend when in NZ!

My husband and I booked a scenic flight while on our honeymoon and it was one of the highlights of our trips! We were worried about the weather as it was originally cloudy but thankfully it cleared up and we managed to take our flight. It was a pity that the ski plane pilot couldn't fly that day so we took both ways in the helicopter. Despite it, we had a wonderful time both ways and Andrew, our pilot, is very knowledgeable. We enjoyed listening to him tell us about the glacier and it was also wonderful being able to land on the glacier and look around. Highly recommend this experience!

Costly but definitely worth it! Staff there are friendly. They ensure you are aware of all safety instructions during the briefing session. The Pilot is very professional and informative. Impressive views from the helicopter and unforgettable memories for landing on the snow.

The whole experience was amazing. Read a lot of reviews about people not getting the mixed experience of plane and heli but I suspect it’s down to the luck of weather. We were lucky to have good weather and the day went exactly to plan. Our plane pilot Dan was amazing on the way in, letting our young daughter sit in the front with him. We were given ample time on the glacier with attentiveness from the pilots and a little check in for a chat. We went back in a heli with Darryl who again allowed for our daughter to sit upfront, whilst my husband and I were the only passengers on the back seat.Absolutely amazing day. Def book this one in!

Flight was very smooth! Epic showcase of the beautiful landscape from above! Will 100% recommend this tour.

Absolutely amazing experience. They helped us rebook due to a weather cancelation and we're flexible with location of landing on the day to find the area with the best weather and light for our wedding photos.
