The worst truck hiring company. Truck we hired was old and run down. 1 tyre burst and also had engine lights come on . USAVE happy to take money from us but you make us jump hoops to get $170 reimbursement when we had the $65 gold cover insurance for tyre and window damage. All I can say is they’re a scummy rental agency for hiring trucks wished we hadn’t gone to you.

All and all on the day was fine and easy being on the benefit and trying to recover the security bond to then be additionally charged for whats not being explained to me is heinous 4 phone calls and multiple emails to not even have the refund over a month later has been tedious to follow up. Won't be using them again in this situation $369 for an 8hour hire of their smallest truck you make your choice I won't be recommending them to anyone

Did not have the vehicle I booked so gave us a smaller box truck & a van. Took almost an hour to sort this and it meant we had to spend twice as much on fuel due to having 2 vehicles instead of one. Was a real inconvenience. Will not be going here again.

Terrible experience, and awful customer service.* I phoned few days before picking up the truck to confirm whether it would be possible to pick up at 4:30pm, and I was told the truck would be ready at this time.* I was at the branch in Christchurch at 4:30pm on the collection day and the truck was not ready. It took more than 1:30 hours to get it ready (the office was already closed when I left).* Nobody was able to find blankets and straps, and they hire moving trucks! How come? This was one of the reasons for the delay.* After a long wait someone found some blankets and straps forgotten in another truck, only then they showed me the vehicle.* The first thing I noticed is that one of the side mirrors was broken and the lower part was missing and I was not able to see part of the road. Well, they just said it was safe to drive with the broken mirror, I just needed to tilt it a bit. I asked if they were really thinking that it was safe, and the answer was just maybe

Recommend this place as the easiest and cheapest way to move house in Christchurch. We don't have a truck license but can hire the smallest truck. Overnight Friday- Saturday $90. Plus petrol for us it was just $10 diesel and kms again for us It was $18. We traveled all around the west of town, halswell, yaldhurst, wigram sockburn two long trips.

I had a great experience with the Christchurch office. I rented a mazda demio and GPS for about 3 weeks. The price was quite low considering the car was fairly new. I had to call once and also had a great experience with them over the phone. Returning the car was straight forward - had no problems. They even offered to drive me home because it was raining outside.Overall excellent service!

We didn't have a good start with them. My husband doesn't have any debit/credit card as per contract, but I gave him mine as the main hirer, ofcourse I couldnt drive and was heavily pregnant. They weren't considerate about our situation and they still wanted my presence there. I was already stressed and having contractions with the moving as we were running late already. But had no choice but to uber ride to their office for my presence and driver's license eventhough I wasn't the driver. We booked for 0900-1800 but because of the incident, we left at 1000 and my husband asked to return the truck at 1900 and it was ok accdg to them.Then the Truck hired stopped multiple times. We weren't given any warnings from the reception like do we have to warm it up for 30mins or what etc. We weren't truck drivers!Thank God we didn't get into an accident when it stopped in the intersection. When we tried to ring for an assistance, it was hard to reach them. They are not easy to contact with, hence, we just prayed that the truck won't stop again but it did. thank God we were safe.We returned the truck at 1830 as agreed. We paid 423nzd for the hire. But when I checked my card, it was deducted with another 35 nzd without any notification as to why????!!!!!SUCH A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THEM! WILL NEVER HIRE FROM THEM AGAIN
