I needed assistance with an electrical problem in an out of town friend's vehicle. It was nearly 2.00 pm on Sat 7th Mar 2020. Having experienced excellent service ( after hours ) from this firm a few years ago I looked them up and phoned. The owner / manager ( Gavin ) answered and said if I could take the vehicle to him he would delay heading off home. We got there in less than 20 mins. 30 mins later the problems were identified, the cost to fix established and Gavin had made the vehicle safe to make a drive home ( 4 hours ) for fixing when circumstances allowed. Outstanding service Gavin. You could not have been nicer to Jules. You understood and you were super about it. If this is the way you treat your customers your business will never lack for lots of them. You are a lovely guy and you so deserve the compliment I am publicly endorsing. You will be my choice in the future. Cheers

It was the first day after New Year break. I left a message on the phone. Gavin Quinn immediately got back to me. I took my car in that day as the aircon wasn’t working. After a fast diagnosis that it was the disgusting clogged inside filter, I was told I didn’t need a re-gas. Seeing I was there, I got them to do a warrant and oil change. I was delighted to experience how thorough he was. He picked up the clogged filter plus the dirty headlights that my past mechanic should have diagnosed. Gavin has excellent customer service skills. Total excellence and thankyou.

From out of town, Broke down, needing to catch the ferry that night in Wellington to continue our holiday trip around the south island....The team squeezed the car into an available slot that morning, once fixed and given the all clear, we were back on the road that arvo with peace of mind, catching that night ferry....Thanks team... My family and I are having a blast creating memories ❤️

Was able to get a booking pretty quickly and the team were fantastic, going over everything with me and explaining what they had done.Super happy with the service and now have registered for Warrant of Fitnesses and Servicing through Reid Auto & Electrix.Edit: Having to change my review after a vehicle service, Was told my battery health was low so i got AA out to replace the battery ....turns out the negative cable was loose and giving out a false reading, with the connection fixed the battery health was 98%.It was a 5 minute job and it went unnoticed by Reid.
