Staff were very polite and cheerful.Portions were huge as is the Lone Star standard.We all got the ribeye steak and were all very underwhelmed. Definitely not a $45 steak meal. Not bad, just not very good...

Great tasty food, value for money and super amazing service. Can't rave enough about the great service we had from all the waiting staff. So accommodating and friendly. They all went out of their way to make our little birthday celebration very special. We will be back again and tell all our friends Thank you Lesa for your birthday rap. You are so awesome!!!!

There was nothing our party of nine could really fault, especially considering how busy the place was tonight. I asked the staff who that guy was, that seemed to be across everything and everyone. I was told it was the owner Trevor. Really obviously an ideal person for the environment as while he trained a guy behind the bar, he kept a brisk friendly and attentive bar service going and also guided other staff in their roles. He even strode off to fetch lime juice when they ran out! Helena was great at the table too.

It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing food and service. Brandon was extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations.He knows what his doing and you can tell that making the customers happy is the main priority. Thank you Brandon. Highly recommended.

We went to lone star last night for our daughters 13th birthday & whilst the food was good (as always) the service was somewhat lacking. We were never offered water, in fact never offered another drink. Then when the birthday cake came out for the birthday girl, there was no offer of dessert for anyone else so we all watched her devour her cake. So the service was somewhat lacking

No complaints about the food. Once it finally arrived. Service was pathetically slow. A good restaurant would have the entire tables meals ready before serving, not one here. One 10 minutes later. The the last meal once everyone else has finished theirs. Pick up your game lone star tauranga. The rating befits your name.

Had an amazing time, me and my wife spent our 14th Wedding Anniversary here for lunch and, weren't we spoilt. The food was amazing, nachos, chicken nibbles for starters, DELICIOUS!! the Gerhard Burger, top marks for the chef! If you ever want the best service, the wait staff go above and beyond to meet your needs, definite highly recommended place to eat, you won't be disappointed.
