Please don't let it this guy touch your car! spent thousands with him to make a total mess of my car, he gave the car back the first time with an edge match on front and rear bumper which were a completely different colour, gave him a chance to rectify it and he made a mess again, repeated burn throughs on clear coat and after another attempt at fixing them I still had a rub through on the clear coat, wax holes in clear coat, badly swirled paint work, badly rubbed out runs, terrible blends dull and showing on side skirts after only 2 months when the whole skirt was supposed to be cleared, dull boot face where he had obviously wiped thinners on panel to remove over spray, windscreen covered in overspray, painted over driving lights on his own accord which I did not ask for, the second time he forgot to plug them and the park assist back in and they weren't even working I had to return a 3rd time to get this rectified, I had to spend more money to get his mess fixed by another shop, I was only able to afford to get some of the damage he did fixed and am having to save to get the rest of it fixed, overall I am having to get 75% of the work he did refinished he has only paid for about 30% of what the total repair costs will be for me to get done at another shop. I was patient with him and gave him ample opportunity to rectify his shoddy workmanship, he wasn't able to do it himself and doesn't feel he's responsible for the cost at the other shop who have advised me that the only way to get the car back to original condition is to refinish 75%of the work he has done. Grant is a nice guy but by his own admission made a complete mess of my car. Allot of time and money wasted for me!

I decided to have my Honda CB1000R receive a new look while retaining a retro/classic / sporty feel to it. After a number of renders I decided on one paint theme. Boy!! Did custom coating carry out a professional job. The bike looks exactly how the concept pics were. If I was ever asked to endorse them , no probs. I found them easy to work with and loved the enthusiasm they all put into their work. They come highly recommended if you ever want your car or bike made pretty, give them a call. Thanks Guys.

Probably the one company I would trust with my car. They have worked on multiple vehicles of mine and the delivery has always Been over and beyond what was expected. Met Grant Peterson, the owner. He had some great ideas for my special project - a rare V12 Audi.We agreed a price of $10k with a start date in two weeks time. I waited patiently for six weeks for paint to arrive. Grant repeated the $10k to my tuning guys (about 5 people will all bear witness). They had referred me here as they had with other of their customers.Didn’t mind waiting too much. Delivered my car. A day later I received an email from Shawn, the brother of the owner stating price now was almost $19k. I explained that Grant had priced it at $10k which he accepted but stated “that’s why Grant doesn’t do the quotes anymore.” I offered another grand and deleted the door jambs. Shawn refused and said no one could do the job for that price. I said but that was the agreed price. Shawn said he didn’t care and there was no way they would do my car anymore.I then texted Grant and here is his exact reply:“Hi Kalev, sorry about that I thought 10k might’ve been enough. I don’t pay any attention to the economics of the business. And to be honest haven’t got the slightest clue. I only really do the creative part. I still won’t be able to tell u if we can do that for 11k. I will talk to Shawn and get him to call you. Sorry for the late reply, I’m still trying to get thru backlog work, and sorry for the screw up on pricing. It’s still a pretty cool project that I would like to do, but I genuinely don’t know how the money works. And don’t really care much for profit, I just like doing the work. I’ll get Shawn to call u.“As it turned out I contacted another company.They are doing it for a better price as they see it as a great promotional project as the vehicle will be taken to show and shines.So in the end Shawn Peterson did me a favour. Will post some pics on here in a couple of months when the project is done with the name and contact details of this ethical company who takes long term business relationships seriouslyThe tuning company has now decided to no longer refer its customers to Custom Costings.

The team at Custom Coatings did a good job of the cleaning of the outside of my company vehicles. The service is good value for money. I will carry on using them moving forward
