Trevor Morris Radiators

I dont even think these guys rate 1 star but you have to tick one minimum to post a review...DO NOT EVER go toTREVOR MORRIS in Onehunga - they totally wasted a heap of our time and money by telling us that my radiator was fine...leading to us replacing my thermostat, water pump, radiator cap, temperature sender, hoses, belts, removing core plugs, checking + rechecking timing etc etc etc! after a second opinion by Auto Radiators (Nixon Street, Grey Lynn) found that the radiator was actually at least 70% blocked + in dire need of a recore, Trevor Morris have point blank refused to refund even what they charged for their shoddy diagnosis, let alone contribute anything toward all the added costs that we incurred due to their incompetence! Although my invoice clearly states 'check + flush radiator' they claim we only asked for it to be painted therefore they are not liable for anything. NOT a company that stands by their work at all. Still going thru some checks to make sure my head gasket is ok too as we had (misplaced) confidence in what they told us + continued to drive the car thinking it was just the sender reading wrong....stay right away + go to the guys in Nixon Street, they really know what they are doing!

When my radiator failed a long way from my home town, I was forced to leave the the vehicle at a local garage.I needed independent advice, and phoned Trevor Morriss Radiators, a firm I knew from past experience. Their help and advice was given freely ,and saved me several hundred dollars. They get my recomendation as a firm you can trust.

Visited TM on the 18th April 2017Friendly staff and efficent service ...during the 1.5hr radiator/ cooling system flush teatment walked to Dressmart in Onehunga and on the return purchased plants from adjacent Mitre10...highly recommend

Ripoff company alert!!!!!!I took a radiator out of a classic car that my partner Michelle had just purchased, to be checked while I had it out doing other repairs to the car. Trevor Morris radiators said they flow checked it and didn't need to remove any tanks to check it further as it was mint. Charged $80.50 and so I reinstalled it in the car. Subsequently we had overheating problems. Thinking obviously the radiator was fine we then proceeded to replace every other part of the cooling system thinking there must be a problem elsewhere. After replacing the thermostat, water pump, radiator cap, temperature sender, hoses, belts, removed the core plugs and checked for blockages, checked the timing, nothing seemed to improve the car running hot. I removed the radiator again and decided to get a second opinion from a reputable radiator shop (Auto Radiators in Newton-top blokes!!.) There they flow tested it again and said it was badly blocked. They removed the bottom tank and showed us photos of it flowing with water from the top. Of 150 cooling tubes, only 30 were flowing!! They could not believe that a radiator shop would let this go out the door and back into a car as it was! Trevor Morris' attitude was that there must have been a communication problem and that we only took it to them to be painted. Yeah right. What a ripoff company. Avoid this company!!!!

These guys have repaired several radiators for me and and have always repaired them quickly even when I said there was no hurry. On one occasion a radiator they repaired was leaking several months later and they immediately repaired it at no charge even though I had a suspicion I might have caused the problem. They stand behind their work which is a factor in why they have been in business so long so many of their competitors have shut down. I have always found them pleasant to deal with and would recommend them to anyone.
