One word. RUDE. Uber eats had an option to order a vegan version of a curry and I ordered it. When I called the restaurant to confirm, the staff just hung up on me as I was still talking after straight up yelling at me that the paneer dish cannot be made vegan. I've eaten at thousands of Indian restaurants around the world who modify paneer with another protein like tofu or mock meat. So please don't assume the customer doesn't know what they are talking about and hang up on them. Don't know why people with no patience to have a conversation work in such a business!

Curry Leaf Indian Restaurant
Made a phone order and pick up after viewing menu on the website. Good tasty food and excellent service both on the phone taking the order and on pick up. The website had an annoying pop-up panel advising of ANZAC days hours two weeks ago. Also surprised that the actual price per dish was higher than what was on the website by a couple of dollars.

Great Curry's, I had the fish Masala & Dal makhani. The food was fantastic probably the best Curry in Auckland. Five Stars.

Had a heart-filling lunch @curry leaf. Masala chai served hot and strong! Recommend their chikken tikka masala and aloo paratha. Definitely going back :)It's a shame that there wasn't many people around at lunchtime. #supportlocal #bestindianfood

Pakora was dry, and texture on the outside was like a rock. As if they had been in the deep fryer to long. Definitely the worst pakora I’ve tasted. Butter chicken was average at best, the chicken breast was dry, no love at all put into the food to be honest. Communicated this to them on fb/email and was told that it’s just different regions cook pakora differently etc. well I hope to never come across this regions pakora ever again.

My family go here regularly to enjoy Prawns Masala and Kasoori Gosht and the owner knows their taste. The Garlic Naan was very nice with my Rogan Josh. We took our byo along. The restaurant has a pleasant ambience inside.

This is a hidden gem in the heart of Onehunga . Really great food with amazing service. I will highly recommend this place. Fresh food and very tasty. I have been visiting and will visit again. Thanks for the great experience.
