My team worked with Shanta for the design of our store in Chelsea Markwt in Manhattan. We were working with a constrained budget but Shanta delivered clever solutions that let us stand out in a crowded space with a clean, elegant design. And all this in record time. Working with Shanta (Studio Sio) on a boutique bed and breakfast I purchased in the Coromandel was one of the best decisions I made this year. Shanta is a dream to work with- professional, supportive, and extremely knowledgeable. I first started working with Studio Sio for strategic planning for re-opening Buffalo Lodge with a new focus and direction. Through this process Shanta really helped me to focus in on our brand direction, fine tune our offerings, and get really clear about our market and recommendations for business planning. This was so eye opening and useful to us that I then hired Shanta to support with design. Working with Shanta around design was phenomenal! Shanta really listened to my hopes and helped me navigate how best to visually express that while also making sure to think about how to do that in alignment with our values of sustainability. Shanta has such a knack for finding and sourcing vintage pieces while keeping within our budget guidelines. Shanta's process is collaborative and extremely organised! I can't recommend Shanta and Studio Sio more, and I am already looking forward to working with her again in the future when we are ready to expand!

Shanta is practical, helpful, and professional. During the process of building our hotel in Tonga (The House of Tonga Hotel), Shanta offered us guidance with not only the architectural blue print of the building, but more importantly the finishing touches and small details once the building was finished. Shanta's greatest asset is suggesting subtle ways to take a room from zero to hero! Shanta designed my kitchen for me - it looks fantastic! Very contemporary and is well set up to be functional. Definitely recommend her
