Found my breakfast quite underwhelming.Service was ok, but no cutlery, napkins or decent salt and pepper shakers to be found.Didn't bother with the coffee when I saw they squirt chocolate syrup into the cup for a mocha".So went next door for coffee."

Very good customer service and very friendly staff. Food is delivered to your table quickly even during busy periods. Nice aesthetics and good overall presentation of menu items.Only drawback is the ongoing peddling of organics which seems to be synonymous with the broader venue and i guess the Ponsonby in general. Such nonsense unnecessarily drives up costs.Otherwise, I highly recommend this venue.

Had a tasty little sandwich and a coffee here when I was dusty and not sure what to do with myself. The staff left me alone to battle my demons and I appreciated it. Not much seating though and a bit expensive but to be expected in Ponsonby central

Lovely little cafe, part of a bigger food hall. It’s delicious, it really is yum, but expensive. They don’t serve hot meals, only food from the counter.The staff are super welcoming and kind. Nice little spot if you’re around Ponsonby and are after a good coffee and food.

The Vege bruschetta was very nice. The muffin would have benefitted from a bit of warming and some butter. The coffee was pretty good. As with many cafes, I think a little expensive for what they're offering. Update : went again April and it had improved quite a bit, so am adding another star.

$28 for one piece of bread and two scraps of salmon for the avocado on toast. they forgot one of our meals and the worker gave my friend a cake fork to eat her also tiny overpriced meal with, and the waiter knew that it was wrong and she still went ahead and gave it to us. The forks were wetter than the water available as there was none. We had to ask for water three times. The sweet chai was good but clearly this place is stretched for workers.

Little Bread and Butter is our regular place for coffee. Coffee is always good. So is their pastries.

Little Bread & Butter
Took my son to lunch here today. I live in suburban Auckland and was pleased to find this eating place in a much changed Ponsonby from my early days. We both enjoyed a large BLAT each which was delicious and well filled very tasty. Tea and coffee were our beveridge choices. I recommend LB&B for it's prices too which I found moderate.

If you're looking for extremely tasty and high-quality cabinet food, this place is perfect. The prices are reasonable and the baked goods are as good as you'll get in Auckland.
