Unfortunately we came in to this place the other day, thinking it was the motel that we had booking for (which was the one next door). Found the owner sitting in his living room and the way he spoke to us was not quite friendly which prompts me to come and see the reviews of this place. The score does match his attitude.

Can confirm owner has major attitude problem as stated by others. I also reccpmend avoiding this place unless you want to spend your holidays being humiliated.

Tidy grounds and good facilities. Nothing fancy. Hiked the whole north island along the Te Araroa, and at $28 this was by far the most expensive price I paid for a tent site. Tent sites at the back of the park under the communal clothes line. No views and a bit cramped between caravans. Felt like $15 would have been a more realistic tent site price. My friends decided to move on because not great value for money.

It's a caravan park it has cabbins you can rent and a share kitchen lounge spreat bathroom it's nice and quiet most times

Great place, central, good facilities. Would be 5 star if cabins were a little better. Otherwise enjoyed the quiet well run park.

Very good camp kitchen, open 8am to 8.30pm. Tent area small under clothes line. $26 unpowered tent 1 person

Beautiful clean and had all the facilities we needed.Park for the kids and only 10 min to the beach .Easy pull off the highway .Mick and Audrey the managers were friendly and went out their way too accommodate us .

The Service on the phone stinks, He was very rude on the phone and if it was! had a very sick sense of humor. Also he told me to hurry up when I was on the phone when I only been on for 30 seconds, The man was very insulting and rude. I would not stay there just because of the service.
