Not great for your Sunday morning brekkie run. There is more to breakfast than bread with fatty or sugary things on especially if you run out of pastries before 11 am

A nice friendly village teashop. I stopped there the other day, for a snack and a cup of coffee. The cheese scone was ouzing with butter, perhaps a tad to much baking powder. Not enough to stop me from stopping there again

One of the better places to grab a bite to eat in Cheviot. Pies are pretty good and the ice creams and shakes are generous.

Typical small town main street cafe. Good variety of food options. Visited on a busy holiday season day, queues were well managed. Long established location at a convenient rest stop distance north of Christchurch.

Best ever iced coffee, made with milk. (Were asked if we wanted them made with milk). Wraps, full, fresh & no excess wrap tucked in, it was a meal itself. Great to see a bowl of fresh, boiled & peeled eggs available.

The service was great. The food was ok?Pie was way too salty and the pastry was under cooked. I had mince and cheese. I reckon I barely got a teaspoon of cheese. The Yoyo was nice, but not enough passion fruit.
