Founded in 2010, Posh Porridge serves grain-based breakfast bowls centred around the best of local, seasonal produce. We believe that porridge is at its best when topped with simple, lovingly-crafted ingredients. We use organic steel-cut oats from Ashburton, which are slow-cooked and served with homemade toppings.

The porridge blew my mind. It is one of the most deliciously tasty food items I've had in a very long time. I go back to Riccarton Market for some every week now, and every flavour combo is magic to my taste buds. Highly, HIGHLY recommend!!!! So yum!

Porridge!! Sounds boring right...?WRONG!!!!This place is gem,and pushes the boundaries of this staple food.The combinations and ingenious flavours are fantastic and well thought out.This place turns your thoughts about not only how you eat porridge and it's taste or texture, but also how you visualise it.It's a magical place.You have really got to go and test this place out.The staff are friendly and a great bunch with a great attitude and attention to detail.If you have never been here,you are really missing out and need to get out more.

Cute kitchen with a couple of outdoor tables. Good choice of porridge and toast with a variety of toppings. Filter coffee was great too.

My parents and I had breakfast here last Saturday for a quick drop in, and it was absolutely lovely. The place itself is tucked away in a cosy, idyllic spot, the food was delicious, but most importantly the service and friendliness was unmatched. Highly recommend!
