Most of the fish well presented and fresh with lots of ice . Would be great if they identified the unsustainable fish like Terikihi . Sandford are trying to improve the fishing industry.

If you want to see stingrays then come here and walk on the deck and wait.Within 2 minutes you will see rays gliding through the water.Amazing to watch

Great range of extremely fresh fish, right on the wharf, friendly helpful staff, everything one need from a fresh fish supplier. Whole fish, pre filleted, shellfish and some more exotic seafood (scampi, paua/abalone) all at a fair price. Would definitely recommend

Not a big place for retail but quite a variety of seafood to buy at reasonable prices. We made a delicious seafood pasta with ingredients purchased there - squid, scallops, mussels etc. staff is helpful and friendly.

First time customer to this place today at 11.15am,..was totally shocked and disappointed with there customer service..Was yelled at infront of other other customers for touching someone else's fish..There were no signs stating do not touch fish!!!like i said first time customer,..I apologized to her but then she wanted to carry on by rudely saying over and over its not your fish so dont touch it without any explanations, and I left feeling embarrassed.Sanford Seafood you clearly need to look into your staff,..today's customer service was appalling, and for this reason I will not be returning.
