Tremendous! The consummate professionalism and fun of the chefs here really shows in the wonderful dishes, everything is elegant in its simplicity and the atmosphere allows you to feel continuously welcome and at ease.Chef Sunil prepared my eye fillet steak (rare) and I cannot express just how perfect it was, like stupidly good, I got some weird shivers watching it prepared and then the actual taste - somehow not of this world. Matched it with the whitloof salad to keep things fresh and honestly I just haven’t had this level of overall satisfaction for so very long! Sunil is thee King of Steak among many things.Beer was always refreshed, the front of house were natural and attentive.Special shout out to the KP of course, total backbone of any great restaurant. And to Auckland, a young MasterChef in the making, watch out for this guy!

Make sure to check the menu and prices! Seems like the only people that give this place 5 stars either1) like raw oysters or2) are a local reviewer (which might mean getting free food for a good review?)This is actually the first time Google reviews did me wrong...Sat outside with a great view of the water on a slow Friday at 3pm. Waiter seemed new and a little snotty (wish I remembered his name}?!? Had to go in and ask bartender for water. She gave me a glass and a bottle.Asked for both the butter and olive oil for the sourdough bread. He seemed concerned that I was asking for both for my $10 pieces of bread! Seriously? Portions are very small for the price and the wine is overpriced. Oysters were good. Overall, not worth the price for a glass of wine and small servings. Still hungry after $51 without tip!!. Am headed nextdoor to the butchery for a meal which seems better priced. Will let you know!Come here if you are seriously craving Oysters. Otherwise, skip this place.

During the week when we were in Auckland for vacation, we came here 3 times (3!!), because the food was comforting, quick and fresh.Out of all the places we tried oysters in Auckland, they had the most plump. Although the second time we had oysters there, there were some shards. Some of our favs, and not photoed:- Get the chowder if they have it- The mussels had good flavor and very tender for their size- this oyster fritter (was appropriate for lunch)

Fantastic place for drinks and food! We ordered a couple of small shared plates - Smoked Kahawai croquettes, Steak Tartare, and Grilled prawns, and all were so tasty! This little gem is located near the ferry terminal.

The staff are good.Fish and chips are not the same as in England. It's not delicious.Oyster dishes used small oysters cut into small pieces. We can't say it tasted good..sorry.

This place is truly a gem! Came here to spend some time after getting off the ferry and flying out. As soon as I sat down, the service was fantastic. Sat at the bar and the staff were really friendly and knowledgeable. I love my oysters and these were the best oysters I had had in years - fresh, large and delicious, shucked right in front of you. Definitely check this place out if you're in Auckland!

So happy I found this little gem of a restaurant!! Located down at the harbour with views of ferry terminal and surrounds it’s the perfect place to enjoy seafood and a glass of wine or beer. I ordered 3 types of oysters, all were delicious and fresh. Along with the Salmon Gravlax & Seafood Chowder. Sat up at the bench near the kitchen and got to watch the chefs in action which was great. Head chef Nate was awesome and had great knowledge of all the dishes. Definitely needs to be on the list when looking at places to eat in Auckland.

Absolutely fabulous spot for dinner and drinks! We popped in for dinner last night and the food was simply stunning! Oyster, of which we sampled all the varieties, were stunning! Fish and chips cooked absolutely to perfection! We topped it off with a bottle of Champaign and have absolutely no complaints!!!The view back over the harbor is also something to enjoy whilst eating and drinking the evening away!A strong recommend from me!!!
