Customer service in the trade section needs some work. Depends on who you get, some are OK but others have been just plain unfriendly or unhelpful. I try and avoid shopping there these days.

Dreadful service and only interested in dealing with tradespeople. Don't look for anything non-standard. Plumbing World is a big name. 'Plumbing small range of product with no advice and little attempt at customer engagement' is a long, but more apt name.

Travelled 28 km to Plumbing World in Birch St. Tauranga, in order to buy some ball valve handles. I asked the guy at the counter, while he was looking at me sideways, if they had handles for the ball valve I showed him?Answer: No.Do you know where I could buy them?Answer: No.Where do you get your ball valves from?Answer: I don't know.Can you ask somebody?Answer: There is nobody herCan you identify the manufacturer for me?Answer: No.Is there a way I can find out?Answer: Google it.

How to lose a $20k sales, by not serving the person in front of you, after a phone call, then taking another phone call while the person is standing there waiting for service, I went to chesters.
