Whale Bay
A walking track of approximately 10 mins will lead you to a tiny little beautiful beach. You will be greeted with stunning views of the ocean on your way. A very limited place in the car park.

Stunning beach, great scenery. Unfortunately we only stopped by for a quick look. Hopefully we can come back one day in summer to enjoy the beach. The walk from the carpark is easy and it takes around 10 mins. Lovely spot for photos of our natural beautiful surroundings

Nice beach, watch out for the tide, you have a lot less beach with high tide, but it is not an issue. Even have toilets there that are getting cleaned.

We visited at a perfect time. Middle of winter & no one else around. Easy walk from car to beach. Fun wandering around the rocks & enjoying the ocean views & smells. Newish toilet block available. Parking at the top, don't leave valuables in the car just in case. Unfortunately no dogs allow.

One of the most beautiful beaches in NZ. We saw dolphins out in the bay. Not close in Whale Bay itself. It's a perfect beach for a safe swim. There's so much shade from the pohutakawa trees. The ten minute walk is very pretty too.

Beautiful beach! Crystal clear water with stunning views on the walk down. A bit of a walk to get down to the beach but we’ll worth it.

Beautiful beach, clear water, golden say. Changing rooms and toilets to the far right of beach. Worth hanging out for.
