Fantastic experience. The day started out wet and I was worried it would be cancelled or I'd be soaked, but no! The rain added a lovely touch to the experience and thanks to all the beautiful nature, we didn't get very wet at all. The staff were super lovely and provide us with a bunch of facts on how the ziplines were built, along with nature and land facts. Highly recommend this tour, you'll be blown away by how beautiful and fun it is.

8 Ziplines set in an unbelievably beautiful gorge, well worth the 40 minute drive from Queenstown to Glenorchy. Guides Erin and Andre were excellent!

Outstanding. It is not about the speed and distance but the surrounding and view during the Zipline. The safety is more than other Zipline in other country we have one. Beware there is some Hiking in between each location. It took total if 4 hours from being picked up at Glenorchy cafe ( closed) to being dropped off. Beware there is no water or bathroom once you are picked up. We were all very thirsty.

If you love nature and have a sense of adventure this is the zip line for you!Paradise zip lines was one of the best activities I did in Queenstown. From the time we were collected at Glenorchy and throughout the 8 lines we just had an amazing time. The scenery is breathtaking and just so much fun! I wish I could do this again and again. The owners Chris and his partner are so lovely! They’re really down to earth and have an true love for the outdoors and that comes through in the way they conduct this business and this activity. 10 out of 5 stars for safety as well! They definitely have this forefront of mind on the second zip the radio didn’t quite work so we did not go anywhere until it was 100% certain that they heard the right communication. So kudos for that! Definitely appreciated it!We had both the owners and a trainee on our day and throughout the 8 zips I felt safe and had a lot of fun!Would highly recommend paradise zip lines if you’re in Queenstown and want a day off the mountains because the views are spectacular and the crew are awesome! For sure you’ll have a great and safe time!

An incredible ziplining experience - highly recommended. After riding a bus from Glenorchy to the facility, fitting harnesses and undergoing a quick training session - the true experience begins. There's a difficult walk at the start - about 20 minutes up a very steep hill. But, this walk is through beautiful beech forest, and there are frequent stops for the guides to explain some features of the forest, and the history of the course.Once at the top, you progress through 8 Ziplines of varying heights and lengths before returning back to the facility. The views are absolutely STUNNING! You will soar over gorgeous valleys, down roaring rivers and over beautiful waterfalls. The zipline itself is thrilling. It's very freeing to fly across the landscape and see nature pass by under you. Each line has a name and its own unique story, and it's great to hear how the course was put together as you ride through it. It feels very friendly, and not at all like a big zipline business put together for a buck. It is clear that real passion was put into the creation of the ziplines by the enigmatic Chris and his friends. The secret ingredient in these ziplines is love! Our guides Andre and Erin were incredible. Very charismatic, funny and great at telling the story of the zipline course. They answered all our questions, and even used some extra time to let us hang in the middle of one of the shorter lines for a bit (I wouldn't expect this, I think we got lucky with a smaller group of confident zipliners).I brought a GoPro on a pole, which is no longer allowed, but Andre was very apologetic, and said that if I had mentioned when we were fitting harnesses he could have lent me a wrist-mount. If you have a camera you want to use on the lines themselves, it seems a wrist mount would be allowed and encouraged, but I would always check first. There are plenty of opportunities to take photos and videos with your camera or phone when you are walking between launch and landing sites, as long as you have a zip pocket to store it in while riding. A zipped up backpack is allowed on the lines.I recommend wearing long pants, enclosed shoes and socks to cover your angles. Wear a long sleeved shirt that covers your waist, and down to your wrists, and depending on weather a light jumper. I got a little bit warm on a hotter day with a hoodie, but it was all I had with long sleeves. Avoid clothing with tassles if you can.If you are based in Queenstown, I recommend the Info & Track bus service to Glenorchy, just make sure to inform Paradise that you will be travelling with them so that they can expect you. You're Info & Track bus will probably give you some spare time in Glenorchy, so I recommend bringing some swimwear and a towel to take a dip in the Dart River at the Glenorchy Wharf. For the Lord of the Rings fans, Paradise Ziplines doesn't run through the Paradise area of Glenorchy used while filming the trilogy, but the beech forest is very reminiscent of those sequences.I highly recommend Paradise Ziplines. It was an incredible experience - and a standout highlight of our New Zealand trip. Oh, and to Erin & Andre - Póg Mo Thóin!

Stunning location and friendly, knowledgeable guides (Poppy and Erin). Everyone in the group really enjoyed it.The scenery is so unique, it makes you want the zip line to slow down to be able to really take it all in! I would recommend this to everyone, and it’s so close to Queenstown!Be mindful about the fitness level required as there is a bit of an uphill hike at the start (which is specified on the website), but if you’re going in colder weather, this is actually a great warm up, and the guides tell you all about how the zip was made at little stops along the way.Meeting point in Glenorchy - booking in advance is a must as there is no booking office at the meeting point, unsure if there is one in Queenstown, but booking online was super easy! I booked direct with the Paradise Ziplines site. All in all, a very laid back, fun vibe, but, of course, safety is taken seriously.

This was my favourite experience of Queenstown. Chris the owner and operator was fantastic so knowledgeable and felt safe with Erin and Chris the whole experience. The location was epic with tranquil breathtaking views from mountains topped with snow to a forest with all its natural beauty and crystal clear water beneath us the whole way.
