Mitre 10 Te Anau

Had broken an RV key and couldn't get access to the storage underneath....(i.e. no water/waste hoses, chairs, awning wrench, etc.) Very big problem. Corius worked with us for a couple of hours to find a key that would work and got it cut to give us access. Awesome guy, incredibly lucky we ran into him there while on our trip.

The person I spoke to today had a very poor phone manner and told me there was no stock of the product I was after even though I gave her SKU number she couldn't find any information. I later rang Invercargill store and Kierry ( sales assistant) told me Te Anau had 33 items of the product I was after. He called Te Anau and got them to hold the product for me .Te Anau store has a lot to learn from the Invercargill branch!

This store just a smaller version of a Home Depot or Lowe’s back in the USA. Decent prices compared to how small of a town this is. They have a small selection of lumber but if you just need a few boards you’re good to go. The garden section is quite small as well and hopefully you only need a few bags of mulch! Good selection of tools though and a few patio furniture options. Not a lot of parking but it wasn’t full either.

Had what I needed, staff, particularly the lady on the checkout, were very friendly and chatty.

I went around town looking for wax cord to lash some jade tokis to no avail. As a last resort looked in mitre 10 and they had the exact cord i needed. Excellent stocking

We went in with a problem with a leak with our bbq, Corious couldn’t have been more of a help for us. He even took it outside for us to make sure it wasn’t leaking anymore, really awesome service!

HiI had a bad experience of shopping here the other day,I bought 3 (three) packs of SAMBA firelighters from this shop.Each pack was priced 2 dollar 30 cents as I could see in their shelve price stickers.But I was charged 12 dollars 45 cents for 3 packs of these firelighters.I was surprised to see that amount of money going out of my account in the bank statement,This is a clear rip off of a customer.Even with GST added for each pack costing 3,30 $ ,I should not have been charged that much.I would never ever go to this shop again because there is something wrong in their system ----may be the till operator is careless or the till machine is faulty.I donot want to throw my hard earned dollar like this .also would suggest other customers mainly of overseas origin to check price of stuffs they like to buy and ask for a receipt for every transaction in this shop.I was not given a receipt after transaction and so I cannot claim for a refund or talk it over to the concerned shop.NOT HAPPY with this shop and suggest other shoppers to be careful,cheers

Stopped in to get some bits to repair the awning on my campervan. The staff were super knowledgeable and helpful, they went out of their way to help me. Thanks!

An amazing place.It doesn't have all the stuff you would find at a Mega, but still good for all of that.What sets it apart is the amazing staff.The take helpfulness and manaaki to a whole new level.So friendly and concerned to make sure you get exactly what you need.Living legends who need to be paid more!
