Meeting family from out of town for coffee.Ordered double shot flat white, received weak,milky and cool liquid.When kumera salad that was ok arrived I said may as well take away coffees(x2) having barely done more than taste it and my wife and myself voiced our dissatisfaction with the product.No comment from Esquires staff.

Great coffee but the toasted sandwich I ordered came with a salad that literally look like they had picked gross brown parts off the lettuce and put it in my meal. Most unappetizing. The sandwich was ok, quite greasy

An awesome cafe, friendly staff. Plenty of great food options, a calm atmosphere. We had coffee, iced tea and the food was delicious.Parking is a large car parking area, disabled parking nearby. Easy access into the shop, beware the door does have a lip so may not be suitable for wheelchairs if you can't lift it slightly. Okay for prams - for anyone visiting with small kids or babies.

We had a good experience, the food is colourful, healthy, yummy, well priced and came out in good time. The staff are friendly and smiling. The environment is excellent, the atmosphere is enjoyable and the decor is lovely.

Esquires Cafe New Plymouth
They took 30 mins+ to make 2 frappes and weren't even busy. 4 people got in and out after we ordered. The barista and another staff member were talking non stop and we were just getting annoyed as each minute went by. Few tables still dirty but nobody wanted to clean it up just kept chatting away like they weren't even at work. Keep your home stories at home and do some work thanks.

Really nice coffee, if fact probably the nicest in town but for some reason there's more often than not quite a wait for it. Otherwise if you aren't in a hurry and have a bit of time this place has great food and coffee and the staff are always friendly and caring.
