late opening sat am no sign telling opening times. assume locals know no info for visitors. called number told busy then lady said later i must hv been talking no sorry. then knew nothing about help re tv cords said we just sell them

I was trying to buy local and support Carterton requested a quote. Was told quote would be ready in about 10 days. I waited but nothing arrived. A few days later I rang and was told i would be contacted in about an hour or so with an update. Nothing no call back. Emailed them no response.

Spoke with Natasha (hope I got that right) who was really friendly and helpful and although they weren't able to carry out the particular repair I required, they were able to help and point me in the right direction which was greatly appreciated.

Asked for a quote to rewire, came in at $10,000, which sounded like a lot for a 60sq meter house, that we later learned is already partly rewired.2 other quotes came in significantly cheaper so I cancelled the job and and asked for the $1,000 deposit back. Wairarapa Electrical said that they had to make phone calls to the tenant and power company so they are reluctant to return the deposit, in full. So far I haven't seen anything back.The 2 stars are for a job I had done previously which went ok.
