Otatara Pa Historic Reserve
Good walk if you wanted to get ya legs working.Very over grown, very much needs a clean up. May take a weed eater and gardening tools next time. The sty's are loose or broken, the steps are way too tall that for our legs was like a 3 meter diving board.Needs a tidy up and tlc. @DOC, dont forget the little well loved parks!

Otatara Pa Historic Reserve
Nice historic DOC walk, very informative sign boards along the route. Reasonably easy for an up hill walk, great view from the top of the loop.Track well formed from the left hand side to the top, after which the track was very over grown.Otatara Pa was the largest pa site in the country, dating from 1500's.

Has history explained. Would like to see a bit better on the track, can you do a loop back to carpark via roads or just back the way you came on the path, it's not clear.

Lovely walk. Beautiful and Peaceful. Took about an hour to do the full loop. Not too intense.

Otatara Pa Historic Reserve
Great walk, the maps are a little confusing but the track is a loop walk that takes around an hour. Lovely views!
