The walk was awesome.Possibly has the tallest Kowhai in New Zealand.

Neat little reserve full of giant native trees and abundant with bird life. Its a mix of forest, swamp and farmland.Track could do with a bit of maintenance as some of the wooden walk planks felt like they might break.

We.love this little spot. Just off the highway. A nice walk to do with the kids and dog, on leash only! Lots of native bird life and a little picnic spot at the beginning/end.

Very much enjoyed coming here..... Lots of bird life.... Beautiful dense native bush very well preserved. Drive right to the end of the public part of the road to find it
